  1. why is that scary? it is a fake watch after all, with a maximum value of say $200 to me, and to the dealer I bought it from, as that is what I payed. the dead daytona has a value of $0 to me, and anyone else I'm sure. Any attempt at fixing it can only increase the value of the watch.
  2. ok thanks. another question i have is; when I remove the hands, is that little cylindrical metal bit supposed to stay on the little spike or on the hand? I ask because those stayed on the spike the first time I took them off, and I just sort of forced the hands on top of them when I went to replace it.
  3. So a very generous member of RWI is sending me the parts I need to complete my daytona. What is the best way to replace those small fiddly chrono hands? I don't have any specialist equipment. Last time I did it with tweezers and tape, but one of the hands went flying away. thanks for reading
  4. does anyone know if the hands from one of those cheap 21j daytonas will work?
  5. well, the method I used, despite having the elegance of a narcoleptic stripper on acid, has worked; at least for now. 24 constant hours now!
  6. I bought my 27" iMac a few weeks ago. I love it. Best computer ever. Make sure you get the magic trackpad
  7. really? it's been running all night and hasn't lost a minute.
  8. it's been running for two hours now! i'm so happy yet so sad at the same time :S I have emailed sead and watchinternational to see if they can get me the parts... any other good sources?
  9. Ah I thought it was beyond me, I sent it back to the dealer for repair, thanks for the reply
  10. i got my skyland yesterday morning, and it had taken a tumble in the post. The minute hand was loose, and just spinning freely. So i opened it and re-attached the hand. After this i noticed that the hour and minute hands were not moving, but all of the other hands work perfectly. I left the watch over night and the minute hand moved about 40 minutes. what could the problem be? and how can I fix it?
  11. why can't they rep this well? it's so simple.
