I have bin having a look through the forum for a while and came across a topic about U-Boat watches. I have bin to the U-Boat web sit and fell in love with some of there models. the only problems is the cost!! dose any one have a veiw on these watches or any info about when to get ones for a good price ?? also the model i like is the flightdeck. Just come back from marbella in spain! saw a lot of AP watches when i eas over there and now i realy want one! lol. i have had a look at the AP T3 from PT. 1 BAR Gauge is equal to 14.6 PSI. atmospheric pressure at sea level is 0 BAR Guage pressure or 1 BAR absolute. 5 bars means that this watch will withstand 5 x normal pressure than at sea level. eg. 1 Bar = 14.5psi x 28.8 " water guage. This = 34.8 feet per atmosphere. 5 x 34.8 = 174 feet. nice long winded bit of info there but you get the picture! lol. Wow this is turning into a big topic! lol. I think that it was down to the weight of the watch that he did not like the avenger. I took it in to work and a guy noticed it and asked to have a look, i handded it over and he inspected it handed it back and said "very very nice watch". He had a gen omega seamaster chrono Ti on. same goes for Rolex. i Have a tt sub and most ppl say fake due to the weight. they say its a fake coz real rolex are realy heavy ?? they have no clue. ha Tim.

Just had one of my mates round today and i was wearing my breitling chrono avenger Ti from PT. He noticed it and asked to have a look, i took it off handed it to him. He shuck it and had a little look and handed it back to me making a funny face?. I was a bit gutted at his reaction due to me thinking that this rep was real good? Any of you guys have the same problem with freinds that do not like reps no matter how good they are ?? The slide rule on the breitlings such as the navitimer is for calculating air speed. You use the outer ring as the start point and set it at the time you start and then read of the average speed at the differnt times. breilings web site has the full lesson on how to use it. even if you doint use it, it still looks dam good !!

Hi, i have the Breitling chrono avenger Ti, it has a LIGHT AR coat, this is what the gen has but my mate in work has a gen chrono evolution and the AR on that is amazing !! why do the makers of reps only put a light AR coat on when the gens is sooooooo visable ?? is there any way to improve the AR ?? thanks Tim.

Hi, I am also in the market for a daytona. As your aware the new secs @ 6 Daytonas are very unreliable i am looking for a pre2000 model where the secs are @ 9 still. this still uses the old asian 7750 but with out the funny gears of the new model. im looking for a good ss black face. Tim.
