Got a gmt and a sub going to m in Finland for a movement fix. Gonna wear them and see how we get on. The sub is of course an instantly recognisable classic. The gmt however catches my eye just that bit more, just a little bit busier. In the uk anyway, tt sub in blue is also the classic 80s and 90s watch for the successful slightly overweight business man. Absolutely no insinuation you resemble that figure in any way panerai!!! In fact I really like it. It think I could pull that off. (So to speak!) What do you reckon then? Sub Tt sub Gmt

Seen a few rollies out in the wild, some of them just seem to pop! Even from 6 feet away. I'm clearly a novice as regards rollies but the edge of the bezel the ridged bit (sorry) and the ar on the newer subs is very eye catching. I'm thinking TC with gen glass and bezel as suggested, may well be the way forward. Way within budget and movable in a crisis. Keep the suggestions coming, even though It does sound like I've already decided! Bvc

Yep I agree, the ap just looks great but I know I couldn't pull it off. Gen is way out of my league. I'd be looking to buy something already done. Apologies to the purists I'm just not cut out to take on a project. Ok let's say £1000. Gen equivalent sub £10k. Or should I just ask who has the best sub. Lol. Actually lets rephrase that.....how good is the best sub? Ps tomhorn, I know right poor old fella. In the Indian culture there is a definite pecking order. Fellas I'm rapidly approaching franken level amount of £ in unworn watches. I can't believe it myself! It's such as shame to not wear them but there are some pieces I just can't take off. Thinking about a mid range franken, any suggestions? Can only afford 1 watch though, what would you go for? Hi fellas, I bought this from josh about 3 or four years ago. It arrived doa. At the time I was sick of sending watches back to china so after a local repair guys said it was completely [censored] it went straight in a drawer. Just so everyone is cool I'm not having a pop at josh. Can't blame him if bar steward posties play football with my watches. Just wondered if its any good or what it is. coz I got no idea about Rolex. I think I bought it as Swiss eta but might be mistaken, wondering whether to buy a new movement for it. Would you be able to help me? Just lately its caught my eye a couple of times. Or should I just email TC? Until I tried wacking it as a last resort a couple of years ago it tried to work but the second hand just bounced forward 2 or 3 beats back and forth. Like it was stuck. I'm ashamed to say it, but my wife has no taste when it comes to watches. She's been wearing my white steel fish for a couple of months but has just confessed she's not that fussed by it and if I really want to get her a watch (funny I don't remember saying I did) she wants this piece of junk in a bigger size. I keep telling her size is not important but she just nods and smiles! Here's a pics of the travesty. She want a man size rose gold watch. I said that like asking for a man size ironing board but she is adamant. The "gen" Michael Kors retails at 200 quid and she wants one. I said I will try and find something a bit more exclusive. But I think I'm fighting a loosing battle. So doesn't have to be Michael Kors but does have to be rose gold. Any ideas chaps. On the plus side I get my so back, now wher did I put those spare links...

Hello chaps. Some may feel I'm being a bit extreme, but myla in her black lacy undies and alluring seductive look, on the home page very nearly got me into trouble! Love this site, no pornographic avatars or popups. Well there's a couple but they are small and easy to navigate away from quickly. Never noticed it before. Is she new? can I turn her off? As opposed to her turning me on!!! I know it sounds petty, but there's lots of reasons one would not want myla all over an iPad. One being a wife and 3 small kids in close proximity.

So, some crown stems are, well, rough! Of course replacement is the ideal solution however is there a quick fix in the meantime to slow down the dreaded "stripping" can you remove and lubricate or is it a waste of time? Thanks in advance guys. Bvc.
