  1. This reminds me I need to wear my MBW version ;-)
  2. Well the "burnt blue" dial is very nice on the MBK but not quite up to par with the gen that's darker/greyer : MBW : As far as the black dial goes it was used on the 3700/1G all 18k White Gold only available in 2004 and 2005 so excessively rare. And yes I think the MBK Nautilus is long gone (MBW actually and I read somewhere the founder was dead), only available from other forum members now.
  3. Sorry for bringing this back up from the dead, but it's the first time I see an explanation on how to access the movement on the MBW Nautilus! It would have been easier to put a split stem it seems. I wonder how the dial hold on the movement as it can't be tightened with screws obviously. Think I'll have to take a peek at mine to confirm it's an ETA and to see which one it is.
  4. So did anyone ever come up with a list of all the MBW Nautilus reps? I see : blue face connected, black face unconnected and back face roman? Apparently one of the MBW founder has passed on so maybe these reps are no longer being made?
  5. Catching up with some Nautilus threads. Nice work! Where did you get the deployant? I'm guessing it came with the 1:1 and was not a problem to fit to the composite strap?
  6. Thanks, sorry didn't get notified of your answer. That 1:1 looks pretty good indeed, except of course for the movement being apparent. Might try to get one to compare to the MBK, too bad there isn't a version with a cheaper Asian movement.
  7. Were you able to fix your problem in the end? I'm currently looking into accessing the movement of my MBK Nautilus to regulate it. I'm wondering if it's the type of stem that you need to pull hard to remove? Can't really think of a way to do it if not...
  8. Bump for a great review! Sill enjoy my MBK, but I still find the dial a bit too "green" in the center, the gen is not like that at all, more grey/blue. Would also like to know how to access the movement to regulate the movement a bit, mine is running about -13 seconds per day.
  9. Bump for a super rep! Have their been any new Nautilus reps since that have upped the ante?
  10. Thanks for the link, that blue diver is very nice indeed ! Too many watches not enough money...
  11. So has anyone gotten a gen tag since last year? I must admit I haven't...I saw a NOS orange dialed Autavia but it was too expensice,
  12. Detailed explanation here : http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=546453
  13. Did you ever get a chance to take pics? Are you happy with the changes?
  14. Good to hear about your progress. More or less in the same boat with a Lemania/Seagull on a second hand fantasy Patek skeleton I received on Tuesday. It loses about 30 seconds a day and I noticed it had stopped last night. I must have started the chrono by accident. The crown is well attached but there must be something wrong with it because I can't wind it properly, it makes a clicking sound as if tow cogs weren't properly aligned. Getting more and more disappointed in second hand purchases, on the other hand QC is not the forte of rep watches when they are fresh from the factory so it's a bit naive to think they're still running fine after a year, whether they've been worn a lot or not...
  15. I take it starting or stopping the chrono doesn't change its behavior ?
