Dave worked for a packaging company. One day, Dave received four separate orders and accidentally mixed up the addresses, so he applied the address labels at random. What is the probability that exactly three packages were correctly labelled?
OK, the second question first. Providing that you survive long enough in the 100% methane gas environment and manage to pull out match and strike it, nothing will happen.
Without oxygen in the air, fire can not ignite. Though, if you really want to, you can exhale air from your lung, which will still contain some oxygen, when you strike the match. Kaboom!
I will give it a try.
Say Scheming Suzie was born on Dec 31, 1995 and today is Jan 1, 2006. So, the day before yesterday was Dec 30, 2005. Suzie was technically 9 years and 355 days or a 9 years old girl.
A year from now will be Jan 1, 2007. For someone who was born in 1995, in the year 2007 she can be considered 12 years old.
Or something likes that.
Well, it is from a local dealer. So I pick it up directly from him. Nothing beats having a chance to inspect the watch before buying.
Considering that it was the price I paid, his cost is lower than that. And, for dealers who have the watch shipped directly out of China to customers, cost will be even lower.
I do not think that the average is off. I can attest that cost of IWC Jones with decorated back is lower than $100 since I just picked up the watch from a local dealer at that price.
I am wearing it right now. Such a beautyful watch!
Hi Pugwash,
I admire your photos. You actually are responsible for my GST acquisition.
The chrono thing was a suggestion from Jos. Perhaps, it will be helpful for other owners.
Servicing the watch is not just to fix chrono but to give it longer service life and accuracy. The movement did not get any proper treatment prior to leaving factory. So, the parts will wear off pretty quick.
I had exactly the same thought.
Jos warned not to change the day and date when your watch time is between 10:00 to 3:00. Something likes the internal wheels are too close together and they could touch each other.
To avoid the problem, turn the time to 4:30 then change day/ date. After that you can adjust the watch to correct time.
Other points are do not play with the chronograph too often and have the movement serviced within the first 6 months.
BTW, the GST is automatic movement. You just give it some wristtime will be sufficient.
Hope that it helps.

Well, I'm in the same position as you are. I have already got the 165 in SS. I would have to get rid of my 165 before getting new one.
As a matter of fact, I actually like my 165. It keeps time very well with the Asian 7750 movement. I will probably spend money on getting different model instead.
That is exactly what I have in mind to modify the 165 SS case to Titanium. One point I notice is 165 automatic case is thicker than the manual movement case. So, first step is to find correct thickness Titanium case.
Anyone know which one is?
