  1. I hate hearing stories like this, especially when it involves real gentlemen such as yourself. Tough situation pal.

Making this post and giving him one last chance before posting his name is an example of the generosity that those who have had dealings with you experience. I guess as a start, if someone was to purchase on credit in the future, the item should not be shipped until all payments are made. Personally, I would not be comfortable asking someone to send me anything if I have not made final payment. To be honest, I live by the adage that if I can't afford something on my own, then I don't need it.

I hope that this all works out and that we don't need to learn this fellow's name. But if we do, then you have made a great public service to this community.

    Good luck AJ!

  2. If you like Breitlings then I'd go with a Seawolf with a Sellita SW200 movement. Very accurate with a solid movement. Just be aware that it is a thick watch at 18mm high. But it's well balanced as it sits on the wrist.

    Everyone's suggestions here are solid.

    And… I definitely agree with Mike… you'll go broke!

  3. Personally i dont think its got anything to do with Newbs per se.... I think what you are relating to more is a changing attitude in more of the guys coming into the scene regardless of them being newbs or not... its more about the attitude than the questions or methods of these guys...

To me its more about their 'sense of entitlement' and disregard for anyone else... not only do you see it on some forums but also in the real world... even if they took the time to read any newbie guidance and other info that any newbie would do  they would choose to ignore it because "that guidance has nothing to do with them"...they are above that...so to speak..

I think the people you speak of in the OP would be like this in any situation not just on these forums and/or when buying...or the fact that they are newbs...

So, yes... This could in fact be a "generational" thing. I have found that the new generation coming to age does have this unsupported sense of entitlement.

    Excellent point!
