Mike,
Glad to see that your photography skills have improved! Still sore that I couldn't make it but I was there in spirit!

Looks like it might be the front end of a tactical sub.

Cool. I'll try it. How do you keep the water from sliding off if the camera is held vertically or at an angle? I can see that working if you hold it completely flat above the subject you are photographing.
One very small drop will bead on the lens and stay in place.

Hey! This might sound crazy, but it really did work; place a small drop of water on the lens of the iPhone and it turns it into a macro lens.

As I suspected. I'll order an ETA.
Thanks SSTEEL!

Hi guys! I'm dealing with a problem and I hope that someone can help me out.
While working on an ETA 7750, I damaged the top pin on the Oscillating Pinion; the part that mates with the clutch. I swapped in out with an A7750 Oscillating Pinion. But, when I run the chrono, it's 8 secs slow from true.
That leads to my question; are they not compatible or is there something else wrong?
Thanks,
P

Yes they are fantastic. But All boutique's are great to visit, just not so great for your wallet
You can certainly say that again!

I decided to visit the Panerai Boutique on Madison Ave in NYC the other day and all I can say is WOW! I never actually held a real PAM in my hand. Beautiful! I looked at the new Ceramic pieces that they had. The display case backs looked like they had AR on the crystal, and the movements were gorgeous! Something for me to save for down the road.

Modern or Vintage Dilemma

I asked a similar question some time ago... Well almost. I was offered to purchase a SE Breitling at a hugely reduced price from an AD. Very tempted! This same community came to me when I asked the question. The answer was simple; is it your grail watch? No. Is it a good investment? No. '66 is my birth year as well, so I understand what it means to you. 66 Mustang… Check!
This is a great group of people, and some great advice! But I think you already knew that as well as the answer.
