actually don't even know if DSN has a brown sandwich dial for lum... only know of his rads...

looking into a 177L, but trying to understand other options for a brown dial....it seems that the 118 and the 61 are Ti lums with brown dials....are they sandwich or sausage? Also, can the 177L caseset and sead's CG work with a DSN dial??? fantasy or possible? Thanks!

HI All- Here is a simple pictural comparison between the Jacob caseback vs the caseback you get with DSN's 27 series. First off, Engravings: jacob has very nice and smooth engravings, while the dsn looks ok, perhaps it is etched? caseback: i was told that jacob's blanks are from DSN's 24 subs. They are much thicker than what came with DSN 27.. The jacob is 5mm thick from the center, the DSN 27 cb is only 3.5mm. Also the jacob CB has a nice finish and nice tapered bezel, while the DSN 27 has a very flat bezel Accuracy: we need to compare to a gen...i wont post since I don't have one, but you can find them on the web Thanks! hope this helps in your decision! I enjoy manual winds, but I do have a couple of autos, and I sure don't like having to "swirl/shake" my watches every day. I have heard good things about the acetimer...would any of you have any reservations putting your gens on this winder? any reason for price differences... or is just branding and box finishing? perhaps motor or different types of rotations or... thanks. OK, it does seem for atleast the JV straps I see on paneristi, that the openings are pretty confined (and kind of act like a tube), however there are some 3rd party straps that although maybe wide (27mm), have a large hole for the wire lugs.

i wasn't particular asking for the small tube between the two wire lugs. I was specifically asking if OEM straps for radiomirs come with tubes. i have 232 and I presume Rep factories use same wire lugs for both 45 and 47mm models, the spacing is larger between the two. this causes the straps to move around alot and i don't care for that. How do peoples solve this problem? or do they just live with it on radiomirs?

I find that since Radiomirs have two short wire lugs vs. 1 solid long wire lug... straps tend to move around a lot. I have noticed that some straps have tubes i presume for the wire lugs to sit in. Is this common? where do you get tubes? Am i missing something?

27a with Palp crown, current shoes, Tootall beauty...now looking for a JV do you think it would be a good match? or straight black croc?

thinking about picking up an OEM JV gold strap for 27a (24/22). Any thoughts, any nice shots of your JV? Seen mostly on 232's. I have a nice tootall dk brown strap. I will post some shots tomorrow with my current shop, but i wanted to ping the group here as you know OEM straps don't last long for sale. Thanks

DSN looks sweet and you know lume will be bright. gen has open case back though, showing movement that is not repped
