  1. @ssteel, I think the movement has ceased to function. I need to find someone to look at this movement I beleive. This watch is quite old and I think it's an Asian 7750, so might not be worth getting it serviced. Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
  2. The crown has arrived however there are a couple of things I will need help with: Is the stem too long? When I pull the stem out to adjust to date I cannot move the dial. Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
  3. Small issue, the watch has no movement... Does it need a service? Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
  4. Out with the old, in with the new. Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
  5. Them Stem has arrived and the crown is leaving China today. Now I play the waiting game! Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
  6. @camaya, you have just reminded me about this! I will get onto ordering the stem and crown today. Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks very much for your input. Lock onto the broken stem? I will need to look into that. I will more than likely order the new stem and crown and see how I go with that. With regards to the scratches, is there anything I could use to remove some of them on the glass and metal? Just watched a video on reluming and now I want to do that! 8. Morning all! So I have had this lovely watch for a number of years (yes its filthy, apologies). I need some help here, as my knowledge is very limited. I don't know what the movement is. I think the crown is broken, (looked on eBay). I can no longer wind the watch manually or adjust the hands. Is it worth getting it serviced? If so, where can I find someone that can do this in the UK. I did use someone a number of years ago, however they no longer take on pieces. Any help would be much appreciated here. Thank you Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  9. Replica shoes in the pictures. Proof is most certainly in the pudding.
  10. There was a place in Chester, in the shopping mall, near Burton, I took my battered "Daylight" to and somehow he managed to get it up and running (took a couple of weeks). This was a few years ago so don't hold me to that one. I hope this helps
  11. Great strap indeed, I haven't seen it in years if my memory serves me correctly. It's unfortunate that description doesn't even describe the strap and talks about the stainless steel strap that's not even in shot. Seems silly.
  12. Is that something that pops out normally? How long have you had the watch? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Great work. The blue lume is a winner! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Mines at least 30. I was unsure at first. But got carried away and went deep (for me about 30 metres). Was fine I should really have mine checked over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Looking good! I wish mine still looked like that. 4/5 years on still keeping great time! What mods were you thinking for this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I am with HSBC and done the same. Don't send money on a weekend as it will not show up till Monday, sent through again Monday and whammy. Two payments leave my account. I send money to china almost weekly and it usually shows up in minutes, on weekdays. I sent £4k to the wrong account number in china and obvs pooped myself a bit. But contacted my bank about this and they said they can get it back. They sometimes charge a fee (£25 mid 2013). The contact the intermediary bank who contacts the bank in china, bank in china gives authorisation and funds are released. The amount you get back will be slightly different, due to exchange rates. I hope this sheds a bit of light on your situation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I do like the watch, however looking at the hi res pics of it, it is pretty battered, I would need to find somewhere in. The UK to get it serviced, unless there was somewhere that I could send it to get it all sorted, do you have any ideas? I would sell it as is, maybe as a project for someone.
  18. Thanks very much. I was thinking the same (getting a new one).are there any Mods you would recommend for the daylight?
  19. Hello, I am fairly new to posting in this forum etc, here i have a PAM daylight about 7-8 years old, its been through the wars (literally) and I basically need some advice, such as what movement, version etc I have no idea about the details other than it cost just under $300 when i purchased it. It was dropped a couple of years back and now i am unable to change the time, I have been reading around this form and found how to open it with stick tape. Nad this is what i found. Can it be repaired, is it worth it? your help is much appreciated. It was sent to a watch repairers who did not really know what he was doing, however when i got it back after 6 weeks, it did work for about a moth then fail again. These are both pretty used batted watches. My PAM 111 works perfectly (for 8 years), as it was one of my first reps i didn't even realise it was a hand wound watch, but i am not used to it.
  20. @Tom Where did you buy this handset from? I had one of these, bought from vegas xmas of 07 and worked fine with all of the sim cards i had at the time, orange, o2 and vodafone. If you have bought these from ebay or something like that then the person you purchased it from may have blocked the handset.
  21. I am wondering where i can find the one on the right. What its called and so on and so forth. Thanks in advance
  22. Nice story, i have had the same treatment in Boodles.
  23. Feedback always helps, what you want is customers, what your selling mainly is watches, that needs to be your focus. Also you need to let your customers what will set you apart from other sites. Something to keep them coming back. So you will obviously need to have a review as a type of feedback, popular items, maybe relative media (for those who want to look like celebs, like with the bond watches among others). The header image is fine as it is. About the prices definitely good idea to have some price ideas. Maybe set the site up using shopping cart. Makes things much easier to manage in my opinion. more to come. Keep up the good work!
  24. Swiss jeweler De Grisogono have released another watch into their growing watch collection. The Instrumento 93 features an automatic movement with a seconds dial, a date indicator and a month indicator. The watch is available in white, rose or yellow gold and are available in De Grisogono stores worldwide. I would love to see a rep of this.
