I'm not sure that's the way Swedish postal service works though. If I'd ship a watch uninsured all I have to do is to put the stamps on the package and hand it over to the girl behind the counter. No receipts what so ever.

I am sorry to hear about your problems. I think I'm done buying reps too, but I cannot stay away from this lovely forum. I also love browsing the dealer sites to see what's new. The main reason is that I haven't bought a watch in almost a year, is the tight Swedish customs. Yeah, I know there are European dealers as well. It's just that I haven't ordered from them yet. (a paradox, I know )

Welcome to RWG! Start practicing on cheap reps. You'll probaby break or bend a couble of second hands and scratch a dial, before you feel confident to try some more advance modding. Like Lani and Bike Mike said: Everything you want to know and more is right here.

Swedish customs suck nowadays!!! I have stppoed ordering reps from China because of that. Stick to the European based dealers, to avoid the custom troubles.

Didn't someone mod a watch like that. With a "Norge glas" logo or something like that? I don't remember the story though.

How can the sub-dial spacing be correct without the modified movement?
