Agreed... not to mention the space those winders take up... and I have absolutely no where to put them... not even on top of the stacks of 1000s of records (they reach the ceiling in some cases!).

actually, 4-watch winders are readily available for about $50 on the Bay, including shipping.

The Zigmeister advises that you should not wind basic Chnese autos - just give them a gentle shake and strap them on. He said that winding ETAs is OK - but why would you want to?
Because I have far too many watches and can't afford a winder (more watches - feed me FEED ME).

I would guess 10-30 winds to get it going if you are going to wear it should be fine. Wearing it will wind it unless you stay in 1 position for the whole week!

I got a couple of Greece shirts but they are short sleeved.
Maybe if I can find the gold Centenary Sweden shirt... or the red England Carragher shirt

I'm about 5'11, 190-200lbs (90kg or so).
I'll be wearing combats too, trainers of some sort, and probably a long sleeve football jersey I'll decide on... should it be one of the Italia shirts? Argentina? Holland? Real Madrid? Barcelona? Benfica? Lazio ? Borussia Dortmund? Roma? River Plate? Juventus ? How about AIK Solna etc etc (all have no sponsors
)Oh yeah, my hair is long tied back, and I am dark.

True, I'd forgotten about that, and I own one!
I have a Breitling for Bentley rep which is the same... this was pre-RWG when I got it off eBay. Never worn it. I asked the seller once I received it why I couldnt wind it, they said it will work if you wear it.

My sister won't lend me her new 6MP camera... she says "go buy one of your own" so I borrowed an older 3.2MP camera... just hope I have time to buy some AA batteries tomorrow! Should be able to take around 100 photos... more than enough ?

What do you send them when they ask for the receipt (not the proof of ownership or export)? Probably not a fake receipt for the real thing?
No chance... if you did that you'll get hit with tax on the value of the real thing - and probably pay more than you did for the rep in the first place!
If you want to pass it off as genuine, try refurbished used watch bought at auction and put say $500. You could get away with that but still pay hefty tax I think.

@ anybody thats been around awhile.
How long does it typically take for the manufacturers to rep these PAMS. I suppose demand has all to do with it.
I just would REALLY like to see these as a rep.
Let me take a wild, uninformed guess.

Venus movements are manual winds. Manual winds will give resistance when fully wound.
Automatic movements have protection to stop over-winding, otherwise just wearing it could cause it to overwind. Therefore you cannot overwind an automatic watch.

Genuine PAM029/063 have ETA 2893 movement with adjustable 24 hour GMT hand, not the hour hand.
The ETA 2893 was a lazy and simple solution to the GMT problem, and quite a few companies used it.
Note that Swatchgroup-owned Omega did not use their sister companies ETA movement.
