  1. Well I bought my black sub (standard ETA movement) from Paul almost over a year ago. Infact I have had it for a year and a half now and it keeps excellent time. Its been modded by palpatine and is close to perfect. I dont care about the movement as long as it keeps perfect time! :) I don't know if Paul still keeps the same quality that he used to. I am sooo out of date, I am actually embarrased. Ever since the switch over to the new site I have been so confused and lost, haha...

    Cheers.. good luck

    Your Viennawatch

I remember the old puking pumpkin avatar.

Nice to see you around :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  2. It's difficult to help someone in a PM. Personally I prefer quality, so I would go with luckyyy (and I have once)... otherwise when I first joined here (RWG1) I read a lot, and the first person I had help from was The Zigmeister (I think). Everyone else since has been helpful with MBW and watchmaster and Omega (by-tor).

Almost every other week there is a new thread or re-activated thread asking a question about who has the best sub and it gets boring.

I admit when I first looked at reps it was to get a r*l*x to impress women, but the more I looked at them, the more I looked at the (relatively) obscure models not as popularly well-known, like Yacht-Master and GMTs and Explorers. And it went on from there to other watches, and the rekindling of my love of watches from years ago. My addictive buying has seen me hoover up lots of watches in half a year (and blow all my savings and wages).

I guess R*l*x was my gateway drug!

  3. I prefer the 028, as it has the same hobnail dial, but the 2892 movement with SOPRAS power reserve module does not have to be modified to add the running seconds at 9.

Maybe if a chrono movement (7750?) is used... perhaps, but can the power reserve module be added on to this to make the 222? :g:

    Won't come cheap... :brow:

  4. If you have any in titanium, bring them as I want to get some of them eventually.

Bring the Radiomir, and the Submersible

I havent considered the submersible yet so it'll be interesting.

I'll probably bring the RXW and a special guest watch ;)

We'll see what I decide, but no PAMs as everyone's seen them. finepics has my 2 daylights, and the 001 has a crown guard screw dropped off, leaving the 029 and 063.

I'll bring another brand as I think you, finepics and clive will have the PAMs covered :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  5. During my last 7 years in powerlifting boards I have never met a person who can't bench press at least 400 pounds. Single ladies (they used to call them "old maids" in the old days) always say that in dating boards all guys are tall, handsome and intelligent... but when they meet them in person they're all nerdy, fat bastards. That's probably why they're looking for chicks from a dating board, eh? :bicycle:

I haven't tried that yet cos I don't want to get that bad reaction!

As for the PMs, you could just delete them without replying, or tell them to PM TTK. :Jumpy:

  6. Doc, where are you at? For some reason I have the feeling it's Australia, if so, the $25 to send back may be correct?

Just checking as it would be unfair for everyone to think you are being overcharged for shipping (irrespective of whether you should or should not be) unless you really are being overcharged.
