At least tick marks on the dial will be no problem.

No look again, its 47mm.
I thought it was 44mm till i looked closer. the crown looks like its the only major noticable flaw.
....now, back to lusting
Correct... 47mm including crown guard. Look at where the zero marker starts on the scale - it's 47mm.

Oh and I will gladly wear my reps into an AD a feel confident doing so, afterall I'm not going to hand it to the AD and say "hey check this out, respect me and worship me because I have this $10,000 watch, oh and while you are at it here's my income statement, and why don't you run my credit too!"
Isn't that what fundamentalist Paneristi do ?

I actually like how this one looks, but having already got the white dial 188 and the black dial 196 it would be one too many I feel, as well as the bank balance straining.
If you like it and don't mind if it's like the genuine 100%, then go for it, it still looks good!

I remember PreciousTime had them too, but check his website and/or email him.

We'll see after this Friday

Got mine from silix a month or so ago.

If he can afford those new fancy uniforms for the crew on his yacht, why not new genuine two tone submariners for them too ?

Oooooooooh, I have that coming from Joshua with a functional swan neck.
It would not be good to have any undue attention though, my little Latina wifey has no sense of humor and carries a knife.
; )

Saturday Morning: Breitling Avenger Seawolf titanium (I really like it!)
Saturday Evening: RXW Plasmir Milgraph (damn this SuperLuminova really glows!)

nice thumbs
What is it with watchsmiths and thumbs ?
Must be gouging and damaging them removing spring bars...
Gotta give a thumbs up

I think it means Paul would not buy a rep for himself with solid gold midlinks.

These are available with ETA 7753 movement. Already have a 188 AND 196 so i'll give this a miss. Now if the 187 comes out with ETA 7753
This watch here is not a Daylight but sure likes like the 188/196

Oh no - I am terribly sorry to hear that you got one of those sad pieces of junk. The quality of reps these days! Who can you trust?
Tell you what, send it to me, and try again. I'll give you what you paid for it.
Am I a helpful kind of guy or what?

You will often find that the springitude of the half toothed dog sprocket whirlification module can lead to an imbalance of the balance resulting in thingifying of the doobreywhatsit ugimyflip!! Best to send it in!!!
Damn your good

a question if you have time. Is yours the same as joshua's?
I had made enquiries with joshua and his price is even cheaper than silix's in this case for this one particular watch. It even comes with the box and so on.
I don't want to do you out of any business though... if they are both the same I'm sure regular customers will stick with their dealer of choice.

Andrew
Get well soon and keep up the great service. Andrew has always been reliable and will do the right thing when things go wrong.
Speedy recovery and look forward to seeing your new goodies.
Indeed he does and has

TTK is correct, but from what I understand, it is not too difficult to polish out scratches from a plastic crystal.
Finepics is correct about the movement. The original Panerai watches had Rolex (pocketwatch?) movements.
The Russians copied this movement way back when and that's what's used in the reps.
The Zigmeister said in his review and in his experience with them that they can be rusty but once serviced properly should be fine. Do a search in The ZigmeisterZone for the proper review and make up your own mind.

I'm surprised by Trusty's comments as he doesn't stock it himself !
How good is the opening and closing mechanism?
And will there be a problem with a nickel allergy or anything like that ?

I'm finding i like the Roadsters but not sure about their accuracy. All I keep seeing is that the blue hands are not correct...

I'd advise to get it. The biggest flaw is that the case back says 300m instead of 3000m but no one will see that, unless you are trying to sell it as genuine.
Apart from that it's great.![](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_group.gif)
