  1. No look again, its 47mm.

I thought it was 44mm till i looked closer. the crown looks like its the only major noticable flaw.

    ....now, back to lusting

Correct... 47mm including crown guard. Look at where the zero marker starts on the scale - it's 47mm.

  2. Oh and I will gladly wear my reps into an AD a feel confident doing so, afterall I'm not going to hand it to the AD and say "hey check this out, respect me and worship me because I have this $10,000 watch, oh and while you are at it here's my income statement, and why don't you run my credit too!"

Isn't that what fundamentalist Paneristi do ?

    Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

  3. I actually like how this one looks, but having already got the white dial 188 and the black dial 196 it would be one too many I feel, as well as the bank balance straining.

If you like it and don't mind if it's like the genuine 100%, then go for it, it still looks good!

  4. Oh no - I am terribly sorry to hear that you got one of those sad pieces of junk. The quality of reps these days! Who can you trust?

Tell you what, send it to me, and try again. I'll give you what you paid for it.

Am I a helpful kind of guy or what?

    Bill

    Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

  5. a question if you have time. Is yours the same as joshua's?

I had made enquiries with joshua and his price is even cheaper than silix's in this case for this one particular watch. It even comes with the box and so on.

I don't want to do you out of any business though... if they are both the same I'm sure regular customers will stick with their dealer of choice. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  6. TTK is correct, but from what I understand, it is not too difficult to polish out scratches from a plastic crystal.

Finepics is correct about the movement. The original Panerai watches had Rolex (pocketwatch?) movements.

The Russians copied this movement way back when and that's what's used in the reps.

The Zigmeister said in his review and in his experience with them that they can be rusty but once serviced properly should be fine. Do a search in The ZigmeisterZone for the proper review and make up your own mind.
