And then think you are a Stallone fan!

I am with Davidws on this one. Trying to buy Veni Strap was the final straw. And with all the analogies about reps and what he is doing, IMHO, people are losing the bigger picture. He and his forum have gone after and threatened folks on this forum and RWG. Get a clue. If you are buying from him, you are doing so for your own selfish reasons. Good luck to those who do!
Ditto to Kenberg's reply.

I plan to also organise a Southern Meet at the same place as last time, but that will be later in the summer when the weather is good
So we'll all be outdoors with our AR coat.

And I thought Dirk Straps was a 70s porn star!

Don't forget, most PAMs love their daily handjob.

There are a lot of very accurate PAMs
Mostly the handwind models.

Considering ofrei sells the 7753 at around $4-500, there are obvious dealer markups everywhere.
Buying in bulk probably reduces overheads.
I've also heard standard (read R*l*x etc) ETA movements are not necessarily genuine ETA movements but Asian copy ETA which are very close. In which case it would be even cheaper to make.

River had the ETA 7753 PAM188 for $500, around $200 less than most!

Will they service reps ?

Shortly after the stripper arrives.

Newsflash.... and one with no class....as he badmouths the other repair guys on phone calls.
Is this true?
I hope not, that would not be very nice at all.
There are some good repair guys here (The Zigmeister, finepics, Palpatine and probably others I don't know of) and they should not be put down without good reason. Precious few of them as there are...

What happened to the private rooms in the pubs in Holborn ? Or do we need a stripper to qualify ?

So remember, Asian 7750 is identical to ETA 7750 in every way...
YES understand Asian 7750 = ETA 7750
BUT does it swap easily with Brietling Navi with sub dials at 3-6-9 ????
Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
And the answer is no.
Standard default layout for the ETA 7750 (and the Asian 7750) is 6 , 9 and 12
ETA 7753 is 3 - 6 - 9 with seconds at 9 for both movements.
Thanks The Zigmeister for answering my question, I've sent a message to a dealer if they can get an ETA 7750 in the IWC GST Chrono instead of the Asian 7750b1.

i already said in in the other thread:
i could be wrong but as far as i remember i already saw a PAM194 rep on ebay china
but it has been removed now...
so there is a chance that we will see this model too soon (its logical, why would the rep makers not take the possibility they already have with the existing rep 187 and make the necessary changes)
i LOVE the 194!!
I thought the same thing when looking through panerai.com
I love that bezel
And I think the only difference would be a lack of a dated corrector on the same side of the case as the PAM187
-
Thanks for the link I'll take a look.
Reason I had asked was because I was told by dealers that it couldn't be done because of differences in the placement of something on the dial (possibly day/date?).
Thanks for the info

Dark guy? You are not a look alike of Adriana Lima?
No of course not!
That's the real reason you wanted me there!

Yeah, St. Patrick was born in Scotland (although did apparently die in Ireland) but St. Andrew didn't set foot in Scotland while he was alive, indeed it is not reliably established that his bones even made it that far! You have to take all these legends with a large pinch of salt....
But I thought St. George slayed all those dragons so our civilization could grow to what it has now become!

Giorgios never made it to England.

Nah you're both not even close,
The patron saint of Australia, is undoubtably Shane Warne!
Go Warney.
I thought it was te crocodile hunter Steve Irwin (?). Crikey!

It''s a sports watch which is why it has a quartz movement. Mechanical movements may not be able to take the shock of a golf or tennis swing.
This is probably the only quartz I would consider, for that reason. I'd want it as a sports watch.
-
In the meantime, I hope rep manufacturers can use the same machinery as for the 187 to build the 194
First Time Pam Buy ?

There are minor flaws on the PAM192, not enough not to get it though!
It's a great watch.
I see it advertised a lot as being on a Stainless Steel and Titanium band... is this true ?
