Differeny areas follow different thought patterns. You two think along similar lines.
Nice watch

There is not a matter of Fear getting me my details, neither of wanting to buy from him (as I already said there are MANY other dealers with better straps and better prices).
It's a matter of principles, and I don't believed he changed to forgive him. (With his PM, when I was ready to let it go, he reminded me who he really is)
Try putting him on ignore, maybe that will work ?
For the record, I haven't bought any straps from him.
Well.. I've never bought any straps at all... I'll wait to see what you got if I make it this Friday...

Arghh you buggers. I am moving back to london on the 3/4 June for good so will JUST miss out on this!!!
Can we do another one soon. Would love to meet up with you guys!
Davey is doing a meet as well. I don't know if that will combine with this or if it will be a separate one later in the summer, or if he's even going to this one!
His last one was just outside London, which is not as easy to get to for me without a car.. I would imagine it would be similar to last time though.
If there is a private room in one of these pubs, I think it would be easier for everyone to bring watches. I don't have a watch case though. I guess finepics and veni and clive would have all the PAMs covered so I may as well leave those at home.

If you don't want him to get your details, simple, don't buy from him. If you love his straps *that* much, maybe use an intermediary member to get it for you, or buy it second hand.
I have a feeling Veni wont be sending any business that way though.

When people ask if my watches are real, I say "yes, they're real. Here, take a look. See, real case. Real dials. Real sweeping second hand. It's a real watch."
When people ask if my watches are fake, I say "Here, you tell me if it's fake."
As far as I am concern, they are real watches. The brand name means absolutely nothing. I know the watch I am wearing is a real working timepiece.
Now, if they ask if it's was a genuine rolex, panerai, omega and so on...that's different.
Very true.

Good idea Clive, good central location for those going by tube. Parking is not great at Knightsbridge or Kensington, but what do I know, I don't have a car... just watches.
Hope you are ok Clive, I guess that explains why I don't see you posting much on here

A friend gave me his PAM catalogue. He got it in an AD when he showed him his 111H rep. He even told them it was a rep but they wouldn't believe him, and gave him a catalogue to look through for a future purchase.
I'd like the Special Editions catalogue though

I told one friend that my 029 is a replica... he seems to think it's not great because of that and didnt seem to hear when I say that the same exact movement as the genuine is used. Maybe it's because it cost more than his Accurist he loves so much
Maybe I should tell him I sold a gen PAM because the reps are just as good.

Did someone mention pearls? You silly boys should know by now how I feel about pearls.

email sent.
forgot to mention in my mail, will this have no problems with the cannon pinion height?
I would think, get a case, davidsen's 1950 dial and hands, already superlumed and it should all be good

West London (K&C)
Do you go to university there? If so, so did I!
Just guessing cos you have exams coming up, unless you are doing accountancy exams like CIMA or ACCA which is in a few weeks I think.

I'm in North London, not far from Arsenal and Spurs grounds. Though I am a supporter of neither

That's the reason i thought the threads were gone, as it physically won't screw down anymore.
Maybe The Zigmeister will know more having had experience of fixing these, and can recognize the symptoms you describe.
It can't be due to the rotor, as the 183 is a manual movement watch, and therefore has no rotor.
-
Finepics, congrats on your watch.
I'm hoping for this watch to come out with ETA 7753 movement
.
It's one on my list of watches I want to get as I think I will be exhausting the list of Panerais that I want. :close_tema:
Won't be too many more to get unless the Radiomir crowns get fixed
How do you change the date on this 187? :beta:
mmmmmmmmmm 187 :cloud9:
Bring it on Friday, hopefull I make it

Forgot to mention the solid gold is most likely 14k, not 18k as the genuines.

Zenith > Tag

If you want accuracy, truer weight to the genuine, then go for the stainless steel replicas.
Most TT watches are plated.
PreciousTime and luckyyy have solid gold on the two tones... but luckyyy may not talk to you, so beware.

Congrats on the fine watch, and I must ask - Honpo is now shipping outside of Japan?
look up www.etaworldgoods.com website, that's his english speaking supplier to the rest of the world

You finally got it, congratulations!
No customs probelms in the end ?
If this meet is still on at the end of the week, make sure you bring it
Anyway for me, Saturday morning was Breitling Avenger Seawolf in Titanium.
Evening and all night has been the RXW Plasmir Milgraph.
We'll see what I decide this morning

Yep, I rarely go to eBay unless looking to see if there is a good deal on a genuine.
Something I haven't done for a very long time!

But we can all strap on a 127 (or finepics with his 187) and hammer them over the head with it![:Jumpy:](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_Jumpy.gif)
