  1. Between the sig pics posted by you and Dani, whoo needs a girlfriend?

    LOLLLLLL

    Bill

I'm working on it. There's one girl I like, but I have to get the courage to talk to her.

Anyway... misdirection time. Pick on Dadog for his glowing name! Didn't he learn from Gotovina ?

    Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

  2. I remember some of the misgivings were (some already mentioned),

-blowing dust off the dial (some of which may have come from work carried out, I'm not sure)

-repressing crystal (should be normal practice if a watch dial has been worked on, or serviced)

-lubricating o-rings (another given when the watch is opened up)

-re-alignment of date wheel (no info given on how this was done)

I think they were some of the things, although some were happy to pay for it so I guess you do what you will with your money.

  3. Very interesting developments indeed. I highly commend both Rob and Namor for being willing to speak their minds about this issue. I have not done any business with joe but had not ruled it out of the realm of possibility due to his stellar rep. I personally won't be dealing with him in the future. Info like this does make one wonder.

It's not the first time The Zigmeister brought up misgivings. There was a lot in the old RWG which, I think, went mostly ignored by many.

  4. Great, I have an 029 and 063 I'll want them for. With the cyclops on order too :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I'll also get an 028 2893 Power Reserve, if you are still doing anything with PVD? I'll need a datewheel for that one too.

If you have any datewheels for the 188 and 196 let me know too.

All will need reluming too. Should i get davidsen's hands for the 188 ?

  5. Date aperture will be different for the ETA 7753.

I'm thinking, if you *DO* get this made, will people have to buy an ETA 7753 movement ($500 or so at ofrei.com), as well as the PAM187 with Asian 7750 (close to $1000), plus this new dial and someone to put it together correctly?

    Gonna be expensive :(

  6. I dunno, I never thought the PAMs looked very unique, they all look kind of the same to me, and they just didn't do anything for me. But I know you can't really tell from a pic, and everyone around here seems to like them sooooo much.... so I went to the local AD and looked at a few gens. Well, now that I've seen the real thing ...

they still all look the same to me, and they didn't really look any different than the pics. So I don't think I'll be getting any. I know I'm in the minority and it's purely a matter of personal taste, of course, but I still just don't get it.

You don't need to get it :Jumpy:

We are addicts, you are lucky not to be PAM addicted!

  7. Yes :thumbsupsmileyanim: but the hammers gave them a very diificult match :)

Yes.... but hammers got lucky - 1 own goal and 2 keeper mistakes. Liverpool also had a perfectly good Peter Crouch goal incorrectly ruled out for offside.

Liverpool were playing their 62nd or 63rd game of the season, a lot more than almost any other team and it showed. They looked tired, and when Alonso went off, I thought it was over, that's when the hammers took more control. Having said that it was Alonso who gave the ball away for their first goal. He obviously wasnt 100% fit :(

Harry Kewell will be worried to make the World Cup now.

Anyway, the best FA Cup final that I've ever seen :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Now for the European Cup final on Wednesday... :bounce: can it match the FA Cup final or even last year's European Cup final (hmmm... Liverpool cup finals always seem to be exciting... Alaves, Arsenal, AC Milan and now against West Ham). :victory:
