  1. Some gen owners of Breitlings and Omega PO's remove the outer AR coating through personal preference.

Personally I love the way the crystal 'disappears' on the Breitlings, so I would probably look into getting another AR coat. It won't take away from the authenticity though, it's still a Breitling! The only time it might cause a problem is in re-selling it, I'm not sure how many people would actually notice though!

  2. I would take the black face personally & as a matter of fact, that is what I am ordering...

For me a white face makes a watch appear larger, which for a big watch, not a good thing,...

as nothing is better, than something that seems ordinary, upon closer inspection is, extraordinary.

I agree completely, but the white dial on the BCE goes beyond extraordinary :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Thanks b16a2, that's usefull. How accurate have you found the swiss movement to be?

I haven't checked to see how it is running against a standardised clock. Il do it today and let you know. However, bear in mind each movement from the factory can vary.

  3. Yes as RBJ says you will need new hands. I think The Zigmeister might have covered the differences in a post in his section, so a search in there might turn up some useful information.

Is there any particular reason for the swap? The new asian movements are pretty good, especially in that layout. It might be worth sticking with it until it packs in! (if it does)
