  1. I spoke to Mark a few days ago. His hard drive on his computer packed in a while ago, meaning he hasn't been able to access his PM's or email. He is in the process of sorting his computer out, when it is fixed he will be back online and reply to your requests Im sure.

  3. Thank you for telling me what I need to do to become a good member lol!

I'll be sure to ask for your opinion next time as I was talking to other people involved with the discussion.

Thanks for chiming in and showing me the way.

Are you a moderator or something? Because it sounds like you like giving advice when it isn't asked.

My initial comments were harsh. Clearly I apologized and subsequently acknowledged my faults relative to this discussion.

For the record I didn't ask you. I guess since you have 3,000+ posts you can just tell people what they need to do.

    Noted.

I have extensive knowledge in replicas. I don't have the time to post 10-20 times a day like you may do.

Does that mean you are more qualified than me because I'm a newb?

Your post count is higher- not your I.Q.

I am in no way questioning your intelligence, just making a point.

I don't like being told what I think or feel based on your opinion of me.

My statements were messed up, and I thought I apologized. Maybe I should edit the post to include my recent words or maybe you like to argue and purpetuate updated posts?

May I ask WHY you by replicas?

Do you wear them in public?

    To AD's?

    Why do you buy them?

I plan on buying a plethora of reps. But I have hesitated because there are things I can live with and cannot. Obvious flaws I had already pointed out come to mind on Rolex reps.

You undoubtedly know more than me-this I know for sure when it comes to reps. I may know a lot but not more than you or the others that are on this site each day....

I read up on info and try to narrow down my choices.

Are there any High quality reps you recommend that are out there?

(my feeble attempt at breaking the ice with you)

Just a small note but one I feel that is worthmaking. In life in general, going to a new group of peple, and ranting around such as you did in the earlier posts does not make it easy for you to get along with people. If you treat people how you want to be treated and are consistent and act fairly, then in general, you will be welcomed and eventually gain the respect of them.

Now I am not a mod, or admin, but that doesn't mean that my opinions are any less valid, and you are correct that post count doesn't count for everything. However, if I was new here, I would be keen not to [censored] everyone off, no matter of the post count.

It is unlikely that people will respond to your questions. My advice would be to go and have a look around the forum, research what the best reps are, there is plenty of information out there. Hopefully your next post will be better received

  4. It's nothing to do with fooling people.

We were told that a Casino Royal version would be released. We are rep enthusiasts, so naturally when one is released that is the same as a previous model but with different hands and case back, we will point out the flaws and slight disappointment when they had such a good basis to work form and improve. Biggest of all, the worng bracelet/strap! :bangin:

  5. i have one from ruby and i can see it. there is a blue edge where the light is reflecting on the crystal and a blue ring at the edge of the crystal. it is very easy to see on mine in the sun and different types of inside lighting. it is about the same as the newest version of the 42.5 omega po. it is only on the inside of the crystal. not like the ultimate 45mm po which has it on both sides.

This is the thing though, the Ultimate doesn't have it on both sides, it is a single AR coating. I am pretty certain what is on the 42mm PO and the Navi's is an internal blue tint (ery very faint at that), it has no anti-reflective properties what so ever from I can see!!

  6. Over the past 6 months, the quality of the replicas being produced has increased from having reps that look very good, to being almost indistiguishable.

Unfortunately we will never be the niche market, because dealers are going to sell them to the wider public too, as it's their business. We are all but of a small segment of their market, so closing these 'super rep' sales to us would be financial suicide.

I do believe, and it has been said before, that this forum has become much more open to the wider public, with more new people coming and going than I ever remember before. I don't want to get onto this topic though as it will distract from the post.

As mentioned we are definitley in the golden age!

  7. Thanks Pug.

I would say that's a replica. Fit and finish looks outstanding, but the there is definitely no curve on the S like the genuine. I can't imagine breitling would change the font throughout the production process. Also the 'ring' around the peral is too thin. The gen has a thicker ring, therefore making the pearl itself slightly smaller than the replica pearl.
