Fantastic review Teejay! This is a watch I have been umming and arring over for a while now, and I could really do with a versatile watch to wear under a shirt or casually, I think this cuts the mustard in both repects!

This whole, which side of the line do you fall on in regards to VIP membership has been overdone. Both views are to be respected, and shouldn't be restarted in this thread. Looking forward to getting a peek at the review Teejay!

vs the new care interest rate is only 1.9 %

Good luck with your purchase. Set yourself a target price for the car, if they don't meet it try elsewhere. Once they have agreed to the price, see how many extra's you can get out of them

Have you thought about buying an 06 motor? As soon as you drive that car out of the showroom, you loose a huge amount of money! Personally I would never buy a brand new car, can make a big saving on a year old car, haggle some more, and before you know it you have yourself a bargain!

I polished the outside of the crystal from myUltimate BCE,
because the outside AR sucks, too blueish.
After some polishing with metallwax it looks much better in my opinion..
The inside AR is still there..
Could you post some pics, be interesting to see the difference?

Definitely a bargain you have there! I agree with By-tor on the strap, the link bracelet is such a distinguished design, it really suits the watch!

It is indeed, IWC use a double AR coating that also gives off a blueish hue, similar to the Breitling and certain Omega watches

When you see a watch at an AD, it never shows the true AR on the crystal, due to the lighting etc.... If you were to take a gen and a rep into normal daylight conditions and wear both for a day, the difference would be very obvious.
For example, I wore a UPO the other day and had a look from the outside of an AD a the 45mm gen in the window, and the AR looks very similar. However, when I wear my Breitling Aerospace (which has a similar AR coat to a gen PO) and compare it to the AR on the UPO, there is no comparison.

A new pearl would really lift the appearance of the watch. I am no Rolex expert, so I would recommend having a look through this review, has some excellent information in there.............

Thanks for your input and kind words. I basically gave everything up for 2months, and was studying everyday before the exams. It was well worth it in the end though. The IWC looks the popular choice so far
