  1. I have a nice Breitling Chronomat, on a leather strap for sale, I would recommend that ;)

In all seriousness I would buy a chronomat, or a Navitimer. When the word aviation springs to mind, two brands pop out for me....Breitling and IWC.

IWC have watches such as the 3717 in the range, but the best pilots watch in my opinion by IWC is the Big Pilot, which we will hopefully see sometime early next year.

That leaves Breitling. The Navitimer is a beautiful watch that has the pilot's heritage to it, but is also very elegant and dressy when on a leather strap. Also the Breitling Chronomat Evolution (BCE), which is less of an aviation tool, but still a pilots watch in my mind, purely due to the styling of it.

There are no reps available (good reps) of the Breitling Aerospace, Emergency, B1 etc... that are worth buying, most are fantasy watches, but you can sometimes pick up a second hand bargain (genuine) if you look in the right places.

  2. Hell I could be buying from TTK, who is, in my reading of his posts, the biggest asshat I've encountered on an online forum.

TTK's posts may not be to everyone's liking. However, if you put all personal things aside, he is one of the HONEST and BEST on this forum. If he says it's serviced, it's serviced, if he says it will come with nuclear capability and sonar radar, you can bet your asshatery it will.

As far as Joshua's and Andrew's practices, I am not going to comment on these, but it is enough to say, although I haven't been stung by them, I have only ever had good service, I have not bought from them since the commotion arose last time.

  3. Nice watch ... but its a watch not a rolex

    'No, it's and Omeega!' haha

It's approx 41/42mm without the crown. The movement is asian. The GMT hand seems to just turn of it's own accord, I am not certain that it has the function of a GMT hand. It can be adjusted. When the crown is pulled out to adjust the date, turning itanti-clockwise adjusts the date, and clockwise to move the GMT hand.

  4. Beautiful pics! I went to the post office this afternoon to send some parcels. Someone in front of me had the orange version as pictured above on his wrist. I had no interest in B&R before then, but seeing it the flesh, wow, it has a very striking visual appearance,!!

  5. Today I received an Omega GMT, such as the Asian one that By-tor has already reviewed, courtesy of Natron. A big thank you to Natron, as the service I recevied was flawless!

The dial is fantastic. The wave pattern really is good, especially in the sunlight! Date window has the correct white outline, and the date font is good also.

The crown is much better than the one available on the new 'ultimate GMT' that is available. It also sits nice and deep into the crown guards as per the gen.

It is of a similar size to the SMP Chrono, but not as bulky (depth is less due to the movement). This is a watch that would be great for everyday use, a real good daily beater, which is what I intend it to be.

The strap is very comfortable, and the watch itself is light. I would say it is almost as comfortable as my Aerospace, and that's the most comfortable watch I have ever worn.

The clasp closes securely, and leaves me in no fear of it coming undone whilst wearing it.

The bezel insert and the numbers are very sharp no blurry print, or uneven edges. The rotation of the bezel is also nice and firm.

I am glad I have finally obtained the Omega GMT, it is the best watch for the momeny without a doubt. If you haven't got one, go and buy one........NOW :D
