  9. AR coating in EU possiblity?

    Ok, I have been browsing the internet looking for companies who might offer an AR coating in the EU/UK.

    I have come across this company.....

    I haven't made contact with them as yet, but if there is enough intereset it may be worth approaching them

    I don't have the equipment to measure crystals to ensure everyone receives the correct crystal etc... and neither do I have the time.

    If there is anyone who would be willing to conduct a group AR service and make contact with the company if there is interest, then it would be of great benefit to our community.

    If it turns out that the company doesn't provide the service then I have found a couple of other firms who might be willing to do so, but from the website this looked the most promising

    The facts presented in the threads about Joshua and Andrew are, very simplified, 2 simple facts; They lied about 1 particular movement in a BR watch and they are part of a cartel/behind forming a cartel. So what have happened since? Have they, as you put it, continued with their dishonest behaviour? You are making it sound like this is what they do with every watch and everything they sell.

    I believe also there was an issue with

    3. Selling 'serviced watches' that hadn't been anywhere near their 'swiss trained watchsmiths'

    4. Replacing a watch with a cheaper version, and keeping the difference because the buyer was none the wiser.

    Very very nice pics there Laz! What a lucky man, a lovely girl, and lovely scenery, oh and I almost forgot about the watch!! :)

    I just sold my white SOSF to a frined, and was tempted by the asian version in black, but after seeing the AR appearance over the black dial, I would have to go for the Swiss vesion. On the strap it looks awesome!

    Great choice! The BCE is a beautful piece, and will certainly add to your nice collection! Did you go with the Asian 7750?

    I don't have a link, but I do remember sometime ago that ther was an open admission to a cartel by one of them. Now whether this was meant as tongue in cheek, it remains to be proven, but a few months ago such a thing didn't look impossible, and it still doesn't.

    No it isn't. The forum is here to protect US, not THEM. Selling a B&R with a movement not as described, providing unserviced watches that are meant to be serviced, and also a members dad who had a replacement sent, but it was a cheaper model, with no refund.....Sound honest....??? A mistake. Pull the other one, they've been doing this for years, they know an Asian from an ETA, they know whether a watch has been serviced

    There is a reason for businesses to merge, it's to monopolise the market, thus placing pressure on competitors. Now other collectors here have a loyal fanbase, so I am sure that they will never be lost, but merely the implication of this possible cartel is not in OUR interest. Now I don't have PROOF that it is in existence, but an open admission...rang some bells for me.

    I have dealt with Joshua, over a year ago, it was flawless. I wouldn't buy from wither now, my trust in them has been lost. Good businessmen, yes, trusty businessmen, I am not so sure anymore.

    Tony Blair deserves to be up in front of the Hague as a war criminal and get the same treatment Saddam got. He knew what he was doing, and should take the consequences for it. If we did, we'd've been rid of Blair and his crew ages ago.
