I would say just a relume and if the strap isn't all that good, a different one to be almost spot on! Im sure the experts could add a few things to this.

I do recall that someone actually received a watch that was 'serviced' but plainly when opened it hadn't been. Now I don't know how often this happens, or even if it was a one of mistake, but I would rather buy a watch without, and send it to our resident expert for a full service if going down that road.

If it was any other rep I would say buy the gen. This is such a good replica with all the features as per above in Pug's post, I would go for this over any similar priced gen...everytime.

I may be splitting hairs here, but when the second hand is pointing to 12, on the gen, the base of the seconds hand goes all the way to the bottom of 'chronometre'. On the rep, it only goes half way down.

Yes on the gen, the valve is situated at 10

My wristcheck comes courtesy of last week spent in Spain. I took the 'holiday watch with me, and am still wearing it. Have gone form the rubber, to the tan leather, to the bracelet again......

It does indeed, all of the 'Ultimate BCE's' come with double AR.

You are correct. The SMP Chrono is one of the best reps available. If you buy it and have the mkovement segiced, there is no reason why it shouldn't last like a Swiss movement. I have one, it hasnt been serviced but has lasted well so far, I will get round to getting it serviced soon.

In regards to reps, I would go for the automatic movement over the quartz if the gen uses it. You will usually find that the quartz watches are much less accrauet aesthetically, but they would hold better time than an automatic!

When it comes to gen's it depends on what I buy the watch for.

All of those watches you have listed; If you want the most accurate rep (aesthetically) you should stay away from the waurtz, if you want it for accurate time keeping and for a knock about watch, go for the quartz.
