  1. Hi dear all, I'm planning to get the Breitling Navitimer and I have two versions in mind. I would appreciate if you all could enlighten me which would be a better choice. And is it true those with subdials at 12-9-6 o'clock position is better than those with subdials at 3-6-9 o'clock position? And in terms of movement is the new asia 7750 at 28,800bph more reliable compared to the old one?

Ok here are the two choices:

    1. Navitimer two tone edition (stainless steel and gold plated). The subdials are at 12-9-6 o'clock position with black dial and stick markers.

    2. Navitimer similar to the one featured in the John Trovolta advertisement but with stainless steel strap. The subdials are also at 12-9-6 o'clock position with black dial and stick markers.

    Thanks!

With the Navitimer with sub dials at 12,9,6, you dont get the recessed date problem, and yes the newer asian movement is better than the older one.

I have both layouts, and I like the 12,9,6 two tone version more than the other stainless steel one I own with 3,6,9 layout. It looks particularly good on the leather strap.

  2. Leaving for Greece in 5 hours. To say I am lookin forward to it is an understatement. Being British, I could complain about the crappy weather we've had, but I will refrain, I am looking forward to some sunshine though! :p

The watch of choice, none other than the White steelfish on gen rubber!

Il make sure I get some decent photo's and put them up when I get back.

    See you all soon!

  3. Yea, I just got the Ingenieur, man thats an amazing watch too! I had two Evo's but I want the TT version on leather, just looks too good.

I will be in the UK I reckon in the 2nd week of August. My bro and sis live in London so I'll be going there quite often!!

Yes the TT version looks stunning!

We'll have to arrange a London get together at some point then, I know there are a few people that live fairly close to there.

  4. I have the Breitling Chronomat, and i is a fantastic watch, but the new Costeau is gorgeous, and I am really growing to like IWC's at the moment! Have you seen the ordinary Chrono in the pipeline, that looks quite promising also?

When are you planning in coming over to the UK?
