  1. Good man :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Well, you can buy a very expensive Navitimer with the sub dials at 12 9 6 o'clock positions, but most of them come with an Asian movement, which is a copy of the Swiss 7750.

The newer asian movements are very good, I have never had any problems with them, but I would recommend a service at some point, then it should last you like a Swiss one would.

  2. You will need to go in through the back, and remove the movement.

First off set the time to 12.

    Remove the caseback

Pull the crown out fully. Then you'll see a small nodule on the crown side of the movement. Place a small screwdriver firmly, but not too hard on this, and the crown stem can then be pulled out and removed.

Then there are a couple of screws around the outside to remove, this is the movement holder. Then the movement can be removed, and it comes out in one piece, dial et all.

Im not sure how you could refix the lume, but this is the easiest way to get it to that stage.

  3. In this evermore 'Politcally Correct' world, I can imagine celebrating anything could cause offence to a certain class or group in our society. Here's to being heterosexual!

I say celebrate how you like, but it seems that people seem to take offence to certain comments far too easily in this day and age (not aimed at anyone here, just an observation in general)

  4. In reply to that, global warming is a very real thing, however, politicians are twisting things as usual to create change. It is a term that is used completely in the wrong context, there is no evidence that emissions are causing global warming, it is down to fluctuations in the earths temperature caused by solar rays.
