  1. Well, having sold all of my replica's and owning only one watch at the moment, I thought that my rep collecting days were over....how wrong I was!

Today I received my results through for the second year of my law degree, I got a first. I am so pleased, not just with the result, but the fact that I studied so hard and I learnt so much whilst doing so, and I achieved what I wanted....just one more year to go now :)

So I thought what better way to celebrate than treat myself to one of the nicest Breitlings currently available. Seeing though the rep is so damn good, and me trying to save money, the rep was the obvious choice....the Skyland is on its way. With the reports of the IWC BP on it's way, I think that combined with the SMP and Skyland may well complete a nice little collection for me!

I am currently in the midlands on an internship, and am going to be shooting home in a few weeks to see the fmaily, I can't wait, as the watch should hopefully be there for my return :Jumpy:

Il post some pics as soon as I am back, meanwhile, that anticipation, and the excitement of waiting for the package has returned. You only get it when you buy a watch....how I have missed that feeling!

  2. Well if you don't like the numbers I would buy this one, however the build quality will be no where near the quality of the other newer version. I wouldn't have thought the price will drop by much if at all. Yes the brand new SA comes with stick markers rather than numerals on the dial. If I had the choice I would go for the new one, a much better looking watch!

  3. This one looks really nice. Like I said, the bezel markings aren't as crisp, and the lume dots appear to be more blob like than on the gen, but over all it looks great! Too bad this would never fit my 6.75" wrist.

Andreww you are mistaken........the whole point of this watch is that it doesn't fit the average sized wrist (mine too) but Im going to get one because that's the point, its' saying Im the most monserous Breitling available, all you Pams go hide now :D

Instead of thinking along the lines of UPOs, which are built for function, think of this as being outrageous and built for pleasure. Compare the UPO to a Ferrari - heritage, function, and crafted with precision. Compare the SA to a Lamborghini (pre Audi-takeover) they were never as functional or as good on the track as the Ferrari's they were impractical, but hell were they good to look at and great fun!

  4. Yes it is tricky getting one in your first year. Did you try Rolls-Royce Plc (engines and propulsion systems) or the Rollls-Royce that is now under the BMW brand (cars). If it was the latter try Rolls Royce Plc, they're a great company to work for. It's not America, but it might be worth doing for next summer.

Il send you a PM tomorrow, off to bed now, early start tomorrow!

  5. When I was 18 I bought my first ever V-Tec Honda Civic. The engine code for it is b16a2, the DOHC VTEC variant. I did some tinkering so I could take it on track days. I have since sold it, and have lost interest in cars, which is a shame because I used to love driving that car.

  6. Hey Dutchy, long time no speak! How is your uni course going?

I am currently doing a summer internship with Rolls-Royce, and they had an online application system. It might be worth checking out the websites of various financial companies for online applications rather than sending in c.v.'s etc... Most will have a selection centre for you to attend.

If you have any questions about the process I went through don't hesitate to shoot me a PM.

    Best Wishes
