  1. Very nice collection!

Take the first three....PO, MMD, Rollie.... the texture on those dials.....just can't beat a gen sometimes. Them you move onto the Breitling and the IWC.....everything about them just looks so crisp!

Some reps we have these days are so close. However, when you see some of these gens you realise that in actual fact the tiny difference between the reps and gens extrapolates to a huge difference with the overall appearance of the watch.

  2. As Yodap has said, there are none worth buying. I have only ever seen one replica of the B1 that I would consider buying, but that was very old (dont think they make them anymore), and by todays standards it isn't worth the money. Good thing is...it makes buying the gen all the more worthwhile.

  3. If you have the Speedy style bracelet from a 2245 SMP, the endlinks might fit the SMP Chrono, but it may need some re-wrking to get it in there. If you have a Speedy bracelet, as Takashi has said, it won't fit because the endlinks are different. You can't swap an end link from the Bond to the Speedy because they attach to the bracelet differently.

  4. And how this forum plans to prevent scams as such in the future...

There isn't a lot one can do. Members just need to use their common sense. It is very unfortunate, and Im not saying in this case it was members not using common sense, because I too dealt with Jakub.

With the rep game I am a firm believer that you should never invest/send away a watch/part of a watch that you can't afford to lose, which does come with exceptions of course for people who are very well known on the boards.

  5. It's hard to because there are so many different versions on different reps of this bracelet. Usually the Bond bracelet suffers from having screws instead of pins, and from memory (dont take as gospel) sometimes the clasp engravings can be slightly poor on the Speedy style. In general they're of an acceptable level. It really depends what watch you're buying, and what look you're going for.

  6. Weel there are plenty of reviews and points on this watch, so I won't dwell on the flaws. Overall it's not a bad replica by anymeans.

Personal taste - not the type of watch I would buy, but don't let any opinions sway you. Buying a watch is a very personal thing, if you like it, buy it!

  7. I'm afraid in the rep game you have to expect these minor niggles. Im sure some of the dealers would be willing to help out where they can, but buying a rep from China with no QC will have results like this.

Things like a non working chrono is slightly different because it suggest the movement is faulty, but if its a simple fix, generally a watchsmith is a better bet than going to the dealer, because sending it back can be laborious

  8. Not an A7750, the sub dials are too close together, with the date flush against the dial I would say it looks like a quartz movement. If you shake it do you hear a rotor spinning to wind it....if you do it will be an Asian 21j movement, if not, and the second hand 'ticks' then it's quartz.

There is no Navitimer motors, that's a fantasy name as suggested below which is actually part of the Bentley line of breitlings.
