  1. Thge best 42mm PO you can buy is reffered to as the 4th gen. The Ultimate PO (45mm) might be the 6th gen.

    Basically if you want to get the best PO these are the ones to buy;

    42mm - 4th gen

    45mm - 'Ultimate' PO

  2. I finsihed wednsday and have a few more pictures. It was a great experience, both the flying and being immersed in the military environment.

    This is a picture of me and another course member, by the side of the aircraft we were flying.

    We aso had a trip in a Commando Sea King which was great fun. This was taken by me literally hanging out of the side door. Flying at 300ft, the vis wasn't too good, with low cloud cover.

    The whole course was courtesy of the Royal Naval Unit at my university. It's partly to promote awareness of the Fleet Air Arm and also as an opportunity for potential aircrew to get a taster of military flying. Quite possibly the best 10 days of my life so far, I had an excellent time, and I can't wait to get airbourne again at my local flying club!!

  3. Finepics will return the watches. He has had a hard time of late. I have had a watch with him for 7 months now, so everyone just be patient, a watch is a watch, wear a different one for a while. Health and career come before hobbies/services such as this.

    Campervan, there are some other modders on this board who do a sterling job. Depending on your country of origin and national customs policies it might be worth considering trying one of them, but they are mainly in the US.

  4. haha. We were flying at 300ft. The second picture is with legs dangling out of the side of the Sea King, trying not to drop my parents camera! I was going to try and get a wrist shot a 6,000ft in a Grob but I think my instructor may have thought I was a little strange taking pictures of my watch instead of flying the brief that we had been given :bangin:

  5. This is very true. If the information given to us by a dealer in a recent topic was correct, we make up but a handful of sales, the majority being Malaysia etc... If we boycott the Asian 7750, it won't achieve much, maybe a tighter QC by our dealers on the products they are selling. I have had no problems with all of my 7750's, and like any mechanical watch, a service at some point is a must.

    If we all look after our 7750's, then we can run them problem free for the foreseeable future! I'm not certain if this is still availasble, but a while ago I asked about having a Bentley GT serviced before purchase. It put the price up a fair, but this service by the dealers would at least allow us to know our Asian 7750 is oiled properly. As far as I can remmber The Zigmeister also mentioned that once serviced, there is no reason why these Asian movements should pack in before an ETA.

  6. haha, I had my Breitling SuperOcean Steelfish on. White dial black genuine rubber strap. the problem is, my camera doesn't seem to focus on the watch face too well, so it would be a bit blurred.

    Off again shortly for the final installment, will hopefully have some more pics, and Il try a few wristshots, see how they come out! Btw my instructor wears a rep Dayton, TT. I haven't mentioned it to him, but it is a very nice looking watch!

  7. The blue is indeed a fantasy watch, but it does look nice! I have the SMP Chrono, and it is one of the best watches I have ever bought. It's really very good, and a must for any rep collector! The Planet Ocean chrono looks great in black too if you want a rep that's not a 'fantasy' model.
