For me it depends on what I am wearing, what I am doing and a bit of impulse. It's nice to have a choice of some nice watches that vary in style, so (a) I don't get bored, and ( I can suit a watch to the type of day I may have (as in what I am doing)

Well I'm on weekend leave from a flying course at RNAS Yeovilton. Thought I'd share some pictures. I'm part of the Naval Unit at University, and due to wanting to be a military pilot I was sent on this course for a taster. Roughly 8-10 hours flying over 10days. After 5 hours I was flying circuits, just need to perfect the landing, and judge the decending rate a bit better. As they say there is only one thing thats guaranteed about flying, and that is that you have to land haha Here are some pictures, excuse some blurry ones, camera isn't the best in world, and some were taken in a rush...............

The first two pictures are of the aircraft I am flying. It's the Grob Tutor. Used by 727 Squadron for the flying course and also for grading. The flying course is as a taster for military flying and also to learn a bit about the Fleet Air Arm and Yeovilton.

Grading is taken whilst at Dartmouth on the Officer training. I beleive it's after the second term, and the grading itself is pass or fail. If you fail, then you get the 'chop'. If you pass then you are past the first hurdle and hopefully onto DEFTS (Elementary Flying Training) at Barkston Heath.

This is a picture of the Hawk. Famously the aircraf used by the Red Arrows display team (RAF ) Part of the reserve squardon at Yeovilton, and used to train Fighter Controllers. Reservists also take the pleasure in flying them too.

The Hawk's used for flying training are based at RAF Valley as part of the Advanced Fast Jet Training. Extremely competitive, but for those that make it are then streamed to their Operational Conversion Units (OCU's) be it Typhoon, Harrier, Tornado etc.. New Hawks are almost ready to replace the current batch, which will have an updated glass cockpit.

Wonderful watch. This along with the Seawolf has become something of a collectors piece. Stunningly accurate! Wear it well!

Easiest way to tell is the lack or AR. If it has a very heavy AR like the gen Breitlings do, it wil have a very very obvious blue hue across the crystal in certain light. The next tell is the date font. The gen date font fills up the date window completely, and is completely different from the Asian, and the Swiss 7750 date fonts, see the picture below,

If it is that layout then these are the two obvious flaws. If it is the other dial layout,(3 6 9) look out for a sunken date wheel (as in it doesn't sit flush with the dial because of the modified movement)

Nice story. When most people hear the word replica, or fake, they assume very bad quality. Most are very surprised by the quality of the reps that we can obtain.

You can sometimes pick them up off of eb@y, I bought mine from there. The fitment is indeed 22/20. 22mm at the lugs leading to 20mm at the buckle.

Well the rug has been totally pulled ut from under my feet. Having been a part of this board for a while, I didn't realise it was made up of such dishonest, tricksters

I was given tracking on a parcel, and it didnt show up on the tracking until 10days later, the parcel arrived 4 days after that. Sometimes it doesn't work at all from what I've read.

Nice pics! Steelfish is a quality piece. Have mine on a Breitling rubber strap now, really gives it an edge, would recommend one!

Go for the one they call the 4th generation. It's easily the best 42mm available. I had one and it was very very good!

Without removing the dial, it appears to be about 28mm across (the main dial not the raised sidewall bit aswell)

Do you think they would fit a Seamaster Pro Chrono?

My white Steelfish arrived today from Angus. If you haven't got one, go and buy one. I haven't got a decent camera to take pictues, but there are more than enough to do this watch justice.

Dial is very good - concentric circels, quality of the print is great etc...

Lume is good

AR perfect, crown screws in assertively

Bracelet is very very well finished

Nice and weighty on the wrist (not overly so) and the band is very comfortable

Pearl is spot on

Bezel is nice and tight, and the clicks are very solid

Clasp shuts very smoothly, and stays shut wihout problems

Fit and Finish 10/10

Accuracy 9.5/10

Overall 9.5/10

I see the black bezel as classy and sophisticated, whereas the orange bezel comes across sporty and casual. I prefer the black, but Orange would be nice to wear in the summer casually.

Place a small ended screwdriver into the gap between bracelet and case where the spring bar is, and pull it towards the bracelet. Once it's tip is showing push it downwards slightly. Same other side, bingo, that's one side out. Then repeat for the other side.

Yes I would imagine what you have is a pre-order with King. Rather sly if you were expressly told stock was available.
