Earth to everyone...... I know the difference between DSL and Cable... My cable provider was sucking ass for about 4 months now (I was on the 5mb download) plan and switched over to DSL 10mb download plan.. I wanted some sites that measure bandwidth to see if I was in fact getting close to the advertised 10mb download speed. I had two sites myself, but just didn't know if anyone had other suggestion.... And the winner is............ Ethan Cool site...

Bill, If you need more space to post pictures go to this link and read thor's post on "How to post pictures" Most of these sites allow free accounts and don't eat into the RWG hosting budget... A lot of people here post images on one or many of these sites...

Well hell.... I didn't want to post in this thread, but since I'm at home and have some time..... I think most of the people who worked on the new RWG project were upset that gran seemd to want to sabatoge the new home and for that we were angry. Gran was part of the move, but for reasons he explained, he went a little nuts on "Moving" day by editing members posts, deleting threads, and pulling private threads out into public. I know the blame for the watch issue rests with Blade, and Eric. That issue in my mind was dead a long time ago. I'm glad to see gran back, and welcome him into the new site. Gran was after all a huge contributor to the old site, and I'd personally miss seeing his posts and comments. I suppose in time this thread will die as it should. I know my post will put it at the top, but I just wanted Gran to maybe read this and see that I hold no ill will towards him and look forward to his posts... Jeff

The problem with the infamous "Who's got the best sub" question is that the answer is "No one except Rolex" All have flaws, but it's a matter of individual taste. Which flaw can you live with??? You can take any sub and have most if not all flaws fixed by some of our members.... This is a question that can not be answered...

Unfortunately if dealers here read your post, you'll more than likely be blacklisted... This is an illegal activity and if they see what you're willing to do, they may not deal with you for fear of any hassel you may bring their way. What I fail to see here is if the seller offered to refund your money? Have you spoken to this person to see if they would refund your money? You should calm down and not take people's posts out of context. I know your [censored], but untill all avenues are exhausted there is really no productivity gained from posting your experience just yet.

Most of us have been there done that, but I don't really see anything wrong with cwai02's post that you quoted Simply stating that it appears that you did receive what was posted in the pictures. I agree that if the seller told you that the "B" was in a different position, that is was a swiss movement, etc... and that's not what you got, then you have a right to be [censored] off....

This sux man... I'm sure most of us have similar stories. Just see if you can get a refund, and please do tell who the seller was. After all our main goal is to provide a place where people can get good items at low prices without getting scammed.

Well, I finally switched to DSL after 6 or 7 years of cable modem and it's much faster. Does anyone have a recomendation on some heavy bandwidth sites I can visit? I'm supposed to get 10mb of download speed with this new DSL

No problem CJ The only way to combat negative dealer posts is to respond with your own positive experience. Everyone should be allowed to post their experience regardless if it's positive or negative

Good question... There was a scammer who ripped off EL last year and it just so happens I knew where the guy lived... Suffice it to say I don't think he's ripped off anyone since.

Bricky.... Scott has been ripping people off for years Hell, he even scammed people on star wars memorabilia of all things. Go read the thread by Muttsta over at the old site. I think it's in the "Got ripped off" section if it's still visible. Too bad I don't live near him.....
