In my experience, the more expensive watches have a better fit & finish in addition to the "Better" movement. Notice I quoted better? If you have a movement serviced (Either one) it should last a long long time. I have some asian auto watches and the overall feel just isn't up to par with my Eta watches...

It sounds like the crown stem is too short. I think Ziggy has mentioned that this is a problem with some of the watches. That's about all I can contribute...
