  1. i havent been able to tell if any if any of the current T3 reps are close to the correct size has there been a full size seconds at 9 or 12 rep built yet that i may have missed? thanks

  5. nikos and others, i dont think the second photo is the of the gen RB movement because in the gen watch photos you see a large gear around the center post thanks
  6. i bet it is a 42 mm case as per the roo but withe the larger pushers it becomes a 44 to some thanks

  8. have been thinking of getting an AP again but am a little out of touch with the sizes of the reps i see the original ROO reps listed as 42MM and i think that is in line with the gen, RB VII listed at 44mm (with no gears in skeleton), RB 00132 listed at 45mm,(with gears in skeleton), shaq listed as 48mm and T3s from 42 to 53. which current rep is larger that an original ROO, but is close to the gen size? thanks

  10. thanks for the answers not about to buy a gen, i was looking at rolli's rep and wondered what the real deal would cost also have seen some photos of what i think are gen 6154s and they looked like the crowns sat a little farther from the case than some rep crowns do i can tell the vintage arena is in a different league from the more modern stuff. looks like lots a opinions and gray areas since things happend so long ago and werent documented as well is an interesting aspect of the watch hobby for sure
  11. i was wondering if any vintage guys could estimate the cost of buying a gen 6154 in todays market? also is it true that the pams of that era varied between the same model? like crown tube lengths thanks

  14. i am a 194 fan and wondered if there were any honpo 194 owners that could comment on there watches. i understand they are real Ti reps is that correct? and that the escape valve it engraved per the gen, is this right? are there other aspects of the honpo that set them apart from the more common 194 rep? i would like to own one myself so i cold answer these questions but havent seen one for sale yet thanks

  17. this watch is very interesting to me as i just bought a 203 dial and am looking for parts to make a watch out of it. may i ask is it a real angelus movement?. i have heard there isnt a rep of it, but if there is that would be great. if this is real any ideas how much it would cost thanks
  18. i dont think there are any better options other than gen CGs two just sold on parts forum i havent see an improved 127/1950 CG yet but someone correct me if i am wrong please best bet for now would be to mod your current one the best you can for a more gen look

  23. i have admired black watches for a long time but always resist because of scratching ask a watch smith and most will tell you to stay away if you are picky about our watch
