IMO, there is not that amount of pressure for a sapphire crystal to break...I guess I will brake while pressing it not 4 months latter. So it must be any other material but sapphire.

I have not seen the first problem...at least it was oil and not dirt...anyways same results not working movement...lol
The second problem with the wheel...I have fixed two...so I guess we will see more in the future. Now imagine the tiny metal bits all over the movement.

I replaced the old dial with a new dial with upgraded font but no lume at all, so I relumed the new dial and replaced the cannon pinion and hour wheel because the new dial was thicker than the old one. Movement service was done as well. Here are the pics....

Very good info. So if the water drop beads on top of the crystal that confirm I got a real sapphire crystal or a very good camera lens quality crystal. Thats good enough for me
Now if the water drop does not "bead" you got a bad quality crystal and definitely no real sapphire:thumbdown:
