Thanks for asking, but these ones are here to stay

Nice! Thanks for sharing! I'm seriously thinking about this one now...

I have done it, and yes it works !!
What do you mean? The bezel comes off cleanly or with the crystal? Thanks!
how exactly do you pop off the bezel ?
I use a thin stainless steel ruler.

It's a bit high. I bought mine used for $950 last year also.

I had the V3 in gray before but i had a dumpy clasp. I didnt know there were two versions of the bracelets.
I didn't know neither until I got both versions.
Many days ago, I did a review on Skyland bracelet I bought. I had my Skyland on various straps for a year before I ordered the SS bracelet. My initial finding on the Skyland bracelet was that it's not as good rep as the rep SA bracelet I had (it's good but not as good, you can see my old post at ). It's probably a bad karma. A few days later, I received my v2 on ss bracelet in the mail. I got it from a fellow member, and he bought the watch two years ago. The bracelet looked a lot more like the SA bracelet I had shown in my review, with the same type of screws used for the links like gen. The buckle was also identical to gen.

deniz
You are welcome!

Lovely looking! Try out BOB straps too. Makes my skyland black steel look sweet.
Man you make me want a skyland on bracelet again!
Thanks K! I tried a BOB strap on my BS today, it looks very nice. BOB straps are the best bang for the buck IMHO. Because of the thickness of the watch, I think Skyland looks best and most balanced on the wrist with its ss bracelet.
As you know there are two Skyland versions that are good, v2 and v3. I have them both. If you are in the market for one, you won't go wrong with either of them. Do be aware that there are at least two versions of the SS bracelet. One of them is very close to gen (I can't tell them apart in fact).

great shots man
i realylove the strap you have on your BS can you please tell me where i can buy one of them and howmuch is it?
i dont have a blacksteel, but whit that strap i buy me one
I got it from a guy on WUS. The strap was made by Taikonaut (spell?). I paid $20 shipped from China. I think you might find one on ebay.
The strap for some reason looks great with that strap. However, the watch itself is pretty amazing in my opinion. It's one of my all time favorite watches. If you do happen to order one, make sure the one you are getting has tight bezel. Mine is pretty tight, but I have heard it's not the case for some people.

BCE on rubber.
My newly acquired Omega Constellation DE TT.

Panatime.com maybe? Use RWG as coupon code, you will get 10% off.

I see, thanks!
I so wish we can utilize this movement

Similar movement I think it's also called ETA 2894-2
-
Has anybody done something like this? Installing a Breitling Cal 35 / 2892-2 movement with Dubois Depraz Module into B01 or Navitimer.
Thanks! I'm just curious. If it's possible, it would be nice.

Gents,
Afer you DLC your entire bracelet, can you still be able to add/remove links? I'm thinking about DLC my SA bracelet.
Thanks!

I have to agree. Relatively speaking, I would pick A7750 movement to be the best out of all other Asian movements. However, I'm pretty irritated about the fact mine's large second hand not being smooth.
-
I recommend ETA. Even if it's clone movement, the parts (like hands and movement mount...) can be reused when you later decide to install a gen ETA movement. The case is also more accurate to gen in dimensions, which allows you to install a gen dial later... just my opinion.

Fish today. Haven't worn it for a long time.
-
They might also be used on a ETA 2835-2 or 2892 movements, but I don't remember (anybody?).
To get a taller "cannon pinion" on a ETA 2824-2 movement, you will need taller hour and second wheels and cannon pinion I believe (see pic). Mine are all H4, but you can get H5 if you want something even taller. None of mine for sale, this is a just a FYI, in case if you are wondering.
-
Based on what I see here, the regular anti-shock one is more expensive.
-
There are so many out there, both manual and automatic. I'm just wondering if can they be reused in our watches to replace ETA 2824-2 or 2836-2 movements.
Any thought guys?

He doesn't reply my pm neither. He sent me a pm saying he wanted to buy my BCE, then nothing... I don't personally think I will do any business with him in the future actually.
