  1. I wouldn't wipe my ass on this rag of a paper.....or maybe I would. One of the worst/best examples of irresponsible journalism I have ever witnessed. They have lost more than half of their subcribers and more than 50% of their advertisers.

These cowards won't even talk to the media to support there position. They have hired armed guards to protect themselves from the angry public. Armed guards. All they have done Is Invade peoples privacy and put there lives In danger. One law abiding citizens house was already broken Into because of there Interactive map.

I hope this pos excuse of a "news paper" go's right the [censored] out of business and there sued to hell and back for putting peoples lives In danger.

Not to change the subject. But I wouldn't mind spending some time In Judge Pirro's chambers ;)

  2. Mike what you are saying is a very leading question because our own Prime Minister gets the same kind of protection and yes she should.

Do you feel the President should not have that protection?

My family simply does not need that kind of protection, you need to be an Australian to understand that, but in 50 years I have never been in a situation where I have said "Gee I wish I had a gun"

    Ken

"but in 50 years I have never been In a situation where I have said "Gee I wish I had a gun". I sincerely hope that never changes Ken. But remember only takes one bad night to change all that.

But fair enough Ken...you feel the way you do and I won't try to change your mind. :)

    Mike

  3. This thread is just getting looney..Everyone deserves the same protection as the head of state...no they don't that comes with the job just as the head of your bank makes 10 X your wage.

The Bad thing involving Senator Feinstein (if you go back a few pages) is the gun lobbyist who want to hang her for reintroducing a bill that expired in 2004, despite the fact that Half of all mass shootings in the history of the USA has happened since it expired.

To believe the founding fathers would have invisualised machine guns, grenade launchers etc etc when when the drew up the 2nd amendment is just so far out there it doesn't deserve comment.

Come guys if you want a debate then debate with facts.

    Ken

You didn't answer the question Ken. Do dishonest rich politicans who could you could give a [censored] about your  rights deserve more protection than your family?

You may think that this video has nothing to with nothing. I suggest you read between the lines. :)

    RIP George

  4. Mike you see the President of the United States of America surrounded by armed Secret Service agents, just like every head of state is protected by their own people.

The reason is obvious these guys can and do get assassinated, it is a whole different discussion from what is going on here.

    Ken

I have to respectfully disagree Ken. Is the Presidents life more valuable to you than your daughter...son...wife...or anyone else you love and care about?

It would be a lot easier for the bad guys to get you and your family than the president or any other head of state.

Here's one of the most powerful anti gun lobbyist and powerful senators against guns. Draw your own conclusions.

  5. Um Mike you do not see the problem with that pic?

    Ken

Ken...I see that the president deserves to be protected for obvious reasons. But don't law abiding American citizens deserve the same protection? For home Invasions and the like?

What do I see Is a [censored] load of hypocrisy. Many anti gun lobbyist have guns to protect themselves. But that's because there afraid of the gun nuts

    .

    Mike

  6. Whoa Mike this is not and should be a racist discussion, if it becomes such I will lock it up.

    Ken

Not  met to be racist Ken. But we In America know how dangerous it is for anyone to walk through a bad neighborhood. I hate racist no matter what the color of there skin is. But the truth Is that we have very scary places here In the US.

So please don't lock this thread down. My comments were not to be racist but a reflection on how things are here In the US .

I won't make anymore comments In this thread.

    Mike

  7. I am educated, and can read the language. Now, let's "educate" you.

In a statement he gave to police the same night, quoted in his own written words:

“The dispatcher told me not to follow the suspect and that an officer was in route.“

Florida prosecutors who later charged Zimmerman with second-degree murder in the affidavit filed in April, special prosecutor Angela Corey wrote that Zimmerman kept following Martin through the gated community despite being told to stop.

“Zimmerman disregarded the police dispatcher and continued to follow Martin who was trying to return to his home.”

So what? That has nothing to do with the incident with Zimmerman.  NOTHING at all.

Who cares?? That has nothing to do with the incident either. NOTHING.

It is taken as an insult. And your further insult is taken as well. You don't know what you're talking about.

Obviously, to any rational mind (insult intended) Zimmerman was "most likely to commit a crime", and he did. If he knew the police were on the way why did he pursue the 17 year old while armed and against what he himself said and wrote being told to stay in his vehicle?

Thank you for well Informed and well researched response.

  8. Naaaaa this is all a fog to me! I dont belive a word that zimmerman says, its very sad that the other person is dead, the trial would be more intressting if he wasent dead!

Did zimmerman have any marks on the face from the fight they had before he killed him???

@maxman, sorry mate but this zimmerman was out to kill, he was feed up with all the burglerys in HIS hood so he was on a kill rampage and this T guy took a bullet for it and died!

I guess you got me mate.

  9. So this Zimmerman, he folowed that kid and killed him??? And he is saying now that it was self diffence? On this tape he clearly runs after the kid and it sound like he dident stop when the police asked him!

Zeleni my friend. There Is a big difference to observe someone than It Is to chase and pursue someone. Watch...as In neighborhood watch. :) Zimmerman had lost sight of Trayvon and was walking back to his truck. I don't see how someone walking away from you can be a threat. Zimmerman said Trayvon approached him from behind and asked him what his problem was. Zimmerman said that he did not have a problem. Travon said... well you do now mother [censored].

Then punched Zimmerman In the face and mounted him mma style. Travon was a big fan of mma. But on that unfortunate night In Sanford FL.....Travon [censored] with the wrong person.  Zimmerman had no way to retreat. If Zimmerman did not have that gun... Trayvon would most likely be charged with murder or attempted murder. If George Zimmerman was black we would have never heard of this case.

Race baiting attorneys can't make money on black on black or white on white crimes.

    Mike

  10. None of  the 17 year old's past matters one bit. Nothing. It doesn't matter what his school record was, how big he was, or even if he had a violent criminal record. The Neighborhood watch guy had no knowledge of any of the 17 year old's past. He had no probable cause, no reason for suspicion.

    None of that matters.

The single thing that matters is that the Neighborhood watch guy was told by the Police to stay in his car and NOT pursue the 17 year old. Everyone has heard the call.

Had the Neighborhood watch guy followed Police orders, followed Neighborhood watch established proceeder he had been trained with, followed simple common  sense, had he stayed in his car with his gun he would not have had his nose broken, his head bounced off the sidewalk (if that did happen) and  the 17 year old would not be dead.

The ONLY thing that matters in this case is that the Neighborhood watch guy provoked the entire incident. All of it.

Jackson and Sharpton have held rallies here in Chicago. They are there trying to stop the violence. There are protests. There are countless leaders here trying to stop the violence. What are you talking about?

Why not educate yourself? Zimmerman was never told to stay In his truck by police dispatch. He was asked  If he was following the suspect by 911 non emergency dispatcher. Who btw has no authoritative powers. Zimmerman said yes he was. He was told that "we don't need you to do that" Zimmerman's response was..."OK". When Zimmerman left his truck he was breaking no laws. The dispatcher also said to let them know If the suspect does anything suspicious.

His past behavior has nothing to with his actions. You got to be [censored] kidding me. They found about $5.000 worth of womens jewelry In his locker with some kind of  burglary tool. He said he was holding It for a friend and refused to give the name of that friend. He also took a swing at a school bus driver a few weeks before his unfortunate shooting. Not quite the little sweet skitle eating ...tea drinking.....poney riding little child the mainstream tried to show.

Do you know why George Zimmerman purchased that gun? There had been several Pitbull attacks In that area and George purchased that gun for that reason only. He did not buy the gun so he could chase down a kid (young man) and shoot him for no reason but sport.

When I say "educate yourself" I don't mean that as a Insult. But you have obviously done no Independent research or thinking. So many don't. They become sheep that just follow the heard and believe a deceitful media who has there own agenda.

Here's the non emergency call. When you get to the part where he was told to stay In his truck by a police dispatcher let me know.

And let me ask you this one last question. Who's most likely to commit a crime? The person who calls the police and knows they will be there In a few minutes? or the person who doesn't have a clue that the police are on there way?

  11. Not to veer too off-topic, but I can't resist. Does it really matter? What if he was a bad boy school bully? We should be ok with his death then?

A 17 year old kid was killed. For doing what, exactly?

If Zimmerman did not have a gun, I am fairly sure he would still be alive today. Maybe Trayvon should have had a gun to defend himself. I'm sure if you had 17 year old sons (or daughters, for that matter), you would want them to be able to protect themselves with a gun too, right?

So this is what a free, polite society comes down to. A cold war between all.

    ...

And please don't tell me BUT TYRANNY!

Yeah, sure, I mean, look at Canada. Those poor bastards.

"A 17 year old kid was killed. For what exactly"? For attacking and trying his best to smash another human beings head against the cement after breaking his nose. You seriously doubt that this would and could not result In serious harm. I guess that' easy to say while sitting safely behind your keyboard. But If It were your head being smashed against the unforgiving concrete.. I have a feeling you might feel a bit differently.

There Is absolutely no proof what so ever that Zimmerman provoked this confrontation. His story has been very consistent from day one. Are you saying that Travons past behavior has no bearing on his actions that night? The first thing his parents lawyers did were seal his school records. I wonder why they would do such a thing? :g: I agree that the killing of a young man Is tragic....and I do feel bad for his parents.. But there's more to this story that many would rather not see.

There dropping like flies Is south Chicago. Kids being killed daily by drive by shootings. Where's the outrage? Where Is  Jessie and Al? Where are the protest with no justice no piece? Jessie and Al can not meet there [censored] up agendas with black on black killings. So they don't say [censored]. There people are dying on the bloody streets of Chicago everyday and not one word from these wonderful reverend's.

The story In this video Is most likely one of the most horrific things I have ever heard of. No hate crime charges that they were trying to charge Zimmerman with at first. No Jessie...No Al. No protest. Outside of this small towns (Knokville TN) news paper....not a word. Not one [censored] word. I just wonder that If the situation was reversed. It would be on every news chanel and In every news outlet In America.

As far as Trayvons parents are concerned. I feel that they have discreated their sons memory.

I have no more to say on this topic

  12. That's pretty amazing that he was shot 5 times in the head and neck and still drove away. She was obviously well trained and a damn good shot. That's also the proper use of a weapon for home defense and I don't think anyone here would disagree.

Now, can you also justify George Zimmerman chasing down and killing Travon Martin!

Can you explain why the media altered the 911 tapes to make Zimmerman look like raciest? Common knowledge that two NBC employees were fired for starting this racist narrative

Can you explain why the father said the voice screaming was not his sons. Two police officers heard him say It and will testify to that under oath. It seems the father changed his mind after talking to his race baiting attorneys. I can just see Travon.....aka No_ limit N....his name on his twitter account... screaming for help while he was wailing on George.

Ms Fulton....Travons mom said that this was a unfortunate accident on national TV. After talking with her  lawyers she changed her mind. Before that she said.."this Is not a white or black thing....but a right or wrong thing". But after talking with her lawyers she again has changed her mind. See a pattern here?

George Zimmerman had a right to watch Trayvon. Neighborhood watch....get It? There were signs everywhere In this gated community that reminded people that there was neighborhood watch In place. Some say that George should have stayed In his truck. Some will say that Travon being a visitor should have just went home. But Trayvon sized up old george and thought he would be a easy ass whipping.

I can't speak for anyone else but when your nose is broken and your head Is being smashed against the cement sidewalk. Well that tells me that person Is trying to do serious harm to that human being. Some will say that his Injuries were not life threating. Was he supposed to wait until they were? Maybe a coma or death would have sufficed.

    .

I'll hold my final judgement until the trial. But things are not always what they first appear. But George Zimmerman didn't meet the sweet 12 year child on the pony that night that lamestream media so desperately tried to push.

  13. My bro, I fully respect a man's right to own arms, be it for hunting or defense of self or property. Along with that respect, however, comes the expectation that the gun owner is responsible enough socially and morally to not be a danger to both himself and society. Its akin to owning a driving license and a car, if you examine the issue to arms ownership.

Like you mentioned, a lot of everyday items can be "converted" to weapons. Kitchen knives, cars, baseball bats, sulphuric acid, steam irons, the list goes on. A gun is more explicit and deliberate in its intention as a weapon, but in my opinion, a man armed with a chainsaw going around massacring a town is no less brutal than a man doing it with a gun. Ditto for a man doing it with a baseball bat spiked with 7inch rusty nails coated with arsenic at the end. In all 3 scenarios, the common problem is the intention of the man. If someone wants to murder someone else, not having a gun is not going to deter him much. It would just affect the method of killing and perhaps the extent of damage he could do.before he could be stopped.

Banning guns does not solve the root of the problem of murderous intent, it would merely make would-be murderers think more creatively about how to go about their gruesome tasks,

Money, guns, religion, none of these are bad in itself, but its the way they are used by certain trouble-makers that creates tragedies and deeply fissured social issues.

A man with 10 guns in his house, with no intention to use them to cause injury, is far less dangerous than a man with a rock who wants nothing more than to brain his neighbor and everyone else he comes across.

Ultimately, the real problem is knowing which is which.

    Again....well said A. :)
