Great write up and photos. Judging by the photos the AR seems pretty good as well. ??? I am very curious about the AR and if this is a must send to Chief to get right/better.
Thanks!

I am not a Tudor export like Ubi, rosnik, et al, but I would say Gen as well-- if only going off the fact the seller is Steve. From my lurking, the guy seems to have a pretty good reputation on the various Rolex forums.
The insert has been replaced, and not sure if it is aftermarket, it sits a bit high (glued?) and the pearl opening looks a bit big.

Something I wondered about when discussing a PAW a while back, was to have several regional PAWs which would each stay on its primary continent to avoid customs issues, and only 'swap continents' if a member was to travel abroad and then make a swap for the local PAW...
TeeJay, that is a great idea. CONUS or North America PAW, and perhaps a UK, and/or EU might make sense. Aside from customs, the person who gets stuck shipping internationally is going to end up paying up to 4x the standard shipping costs.

My first choice would be the VC. Second the Graham.
* The leather straps will be more compatible with various wrist sizes. No bracelet resizing...

I have some of Stilty's waterslide decals and silver overlay blanks. PM me if interested. They are Open 6 & 9, Flat 3's for 2836's. You can also, apply these over the stock datewheel if you strip the paint thus revealing a silver background.

You have a PM. I have 3 of the Silix models listed above (168 but with correct bezel not the Milgauss, 187, 176). I might be willing to part with one.

Some pics from my bench. Details to follow. This is an homage/tribute piece I am practicing my assembly skills on. Since it is a tribute, I need not worry about the small stuff. It is actually fun sourcing unbranded Rolex parts. Movement is Gen ETA 2836-2.
I call this my 653.09D. 653 for tribute, 09 for 2009. D for date. (My own homebrew "Kingston" kinda sorta...)
In a hurry, but I will post more details and progress pics asap.
Thanks for looking,

Looking to do both. Go from Glit to White, and Relume.

Thanks a million.

@Freddy333, any chance you have a straight on Dial shot of yours. Love it, and would like to compare to some parts I have been accumulating.
TIA

Yep, you beat me my 65.00. That is damn good.

I managed to snipe a Gen Panerai Croc 24/22 (without buckle) for $165.00
$200 seems to be average.
