  1. Thats great news Rob, Rest up pal.
  2. Thanks for the tip V.
  3. Yip the finishing is not very good on these crownguards unfortunately...My only gripe though.
  4. MrShuma you are deluded if you think anyone on here is going to believe any of your crap...Real dials, Real Valjoux movements...I'm giving you 5 mins before you get banned.. 5.
  5. Real aftermarket dials....LOL
  6. I once sent a watch to Victoria from Australia that took 2 months to arrive...There's always hope Dani.
  7. LOL. The gen dial doesn't even have these blobby bits of lume so not sure why they did this. YEs they can be removed and redone and it should be really easy to do.
  8. Gen dial, Lello datewheel, and gen strap. I haven't installed my chief crystal yet because the crystal gasket is stretched and I can't find another gasket
  9. The 3717 is such a good rep....I tried the gen on last week and it was no different to my rep version.
  10. I got Rob to service mine and it winds and runs beautifully. When comparing his cost of servicing to fitting a gen ETA 7750 I personally don't think it is worth it. Oh and Rob super lumed mine as well
  11. Yip looks straight on the rep to me as well...Here's one of Puretimes photos. EDIT: The SEL's could be different between the skyland and the SA though.
  12. Nice pics J....I have one that is fully modded but would never sell it as it is just a great watch. Why don't you take this on as a project and mod it yourself...All you need is the chief AR coated crystal the movement serviced and new datewheels.....Easy stuff.
  13. I've never really seen many of the Sinn watches but I'm certainly a fan of this one ...It looks fantastic.
  14. I'm afraid the date window gives this rep away in a second...The 6-9-12 I believe is more accurate. My one has still got a little way to go but with a gen dial and lello it is geting there.
  15. It is a sausage dial zero..I think what I'm going to do is get some matt black acrylic paint and touch it up with a very thin brush.
  16. @Skidbaecken this is the old slow beat 7750 so the hand sizes are the same as the ETA 7750. You just wind the time through a few revolutions until you can see when the date changes to find out what time 12:00pm is.
  17. Yea the scratch is into the metal and it is shiny. And the dial is superlumed so I need to be very careful with this as it isn't a standard throw away dial. LOL @ssurfer, Thanks anyway.
  18. That is fact and it is due out very soon I hear.
  19. Offshore how does this work..Do you just drop some of the liquid on the scratch and it turns the shiny surface black?
  20. Any other ideas as I can't get this stuff and I'm not going to ship it here for one small scratch. Maybe a pen or paint.?
  21. The engraving is very nicely done...Bracelet looks the business.
  22. Hairsprings are overrated anyway
  23. Is it bad to remove the black rubber seal that sits around the inside of the crown to get this gap correct.? I know it is there to waterproof the watch but does it serve any other purpose.
  24. It's such a pain as I had just modded this and installed V's new crownguard and it wasn't until I was basking in the glory that I noticed the scratch. This was there when I bought the watch but when I was cleaning some lint from the dial with Rodico I must have removed some of the cover up. Not sure I can find that product in Australia but will take a look....Thanks for your suggestion.
  25. Is there an easy way to remove or cover up a small scratch on a black PAM dial.??
