I am going to have a go at luming and have decided to go with the below kit from Ofrei. This is for my Panerai so need to know if the AF Luminova greeen would be the equivilent of C3. I have found some gen crowns both Auto and handwind but not too sure if they are legit. Can someone confirm from this photo that these are real.?

These people are in my hometown and I have been to their shop to pick up a gen Navitimer dial that I won from ebay. They are very legit and own a repair shop from way back so no problems at all.

As you can see by the hands it did used to be a serie special. I will post photos when I can get the AR crystal back on.

I'm going to say no as I don't believe the crown tube will be threaded correctly. The rep crown is not too bad and you won't be called out over this.

The crystal is actually perspex...Maybe plexiglass isn't the right term for it. You guys are right, With all the mods on this one it would be a shame to not put the Chief AR coated crystal on it.

sixbennetts thats exactly the problem she was having...Maybe she had the gaskett the wrong way round. Might see if The Zigmeister can look after this for me...It needs some of his magic lume as well.

Well I waited and I waited for my Navi crystal to come back from Chief and was so excited when it arrived I took it straight down to my local watch lady for her to install this for me. Got the call and was disappointed to hear that she had problems installing it but she did manage to install a spare plexiglass one that she thought would like good. I'm not so sure that I like it all that much to be honest..Interested to know what your thoughts are on this.?

Mine sometimes die overnight....Depends how active you are during the day. Best thing...Buy an inexpensive watch winder off eBay and put your watch in it overnight.
