Thats the one mate..But there is another one where the work is even dodgier that I can't find.

One of the posts in question is the same one that has been posted over at the darkside; http://www.replica-watch.info/phpBB3/viewt...f=7&t=37263 The other one I cannot find but was in relation to a sausage dial that had been relumed for a member.

There were a couple of posts by TWP in the Panerai section that have been deleted. He was showing a couple of watches that he relumed for forum members and wanted some opinions on his work which honestly was as sub par as it gets and I told him this. On one watch there was dust and crap all over the dial and on the other one the lume looked like someone pushed a finger into it before it could harden. My question is why were these deleted if they were a true representation of the work that this modder does. Surely members have the right to see what they are getting in for before sending their expensive watches out for this kind of service?

So the blob to the left of the 6 is dust..And the blob on the Bergeon cushion is dust as well? You can still see it in photo number 6 when the glass is on the watch.. Just scrutnizing.

Picture number 4 looks terrible dude...Looks like you've spilt something allover the dial. Is this meant to instill confidence in people about your modding work.?

Normally Angus's Pams are pretty good I thought..That was the impression from looking at them and reading the reviews. Nothing like a knowledgeable watchsmith delving further to uncover what issues lie underneath though. I'm hoping this is a one off.

Yip, If you're leaching someone elses bandwidth then you have no say on what ports are or are not open. If you have just a cable modem then it should be straight out to the internet from your pc...Check which port bit torrent is trying to connect through and change it to something else as the standard port of 6881 is normally blocked by ISP's. Also check that your windows firewall is open for the new port...Normally when you reopen your bittorrent client windows firewall will ask if you want to let it connect and this will open the port. Good luck.

Lanikai comes across as one of the nicest people youre ever likely to meet on an internet forum and I can't believe anyone is doubting this mans integrity. His reviews are great and I always make a point to read evryone that he has done wheather I have an interest in the watch or not. Keep it up mate and don't let the minority get to ya.

6-9-12 all the way...The closest one to the gen is the two tone on Black Leather strap...Fantastic. I've had the 3-6-9 one and the sunken datewheel is plain ugly and is a dead giveaway.

Compared to the first version yes it is slightly better but compared to the AR coating services on this board it doesn't even rate. I don't think the rep is real AR coating but some sort of stick on material to simulate AR but that is just my opinion. Nice watch though!!

Can someone confirm if the crown that I bought from this ebay seller has the spring loaded part....I'm not 100%sure if it does.

I was looking at saving a few bucks and getting the asian case but this doesn't have Saphirre glass and I don't know if The Zigmeister can use the movement holder in that one. I believe all of the dealers have the same case so any swiss one will do.

It is stamped ETA 2893-2 so I'm hoping that the hand size and dial feet position are standard. All a bit too late now really as I jumped in without thinking and bought it...

I have bought this as a transplant movement for my 029 but I'm just a little worried about the placement of the stem. Is it just a matter of afixing the dial so the stem is in the 3 oclock position or is this unsutiable?

Yes gen Swiss T dial exactly like I have for an early Navitimer old model...These will fit the current rep Navitimers but they may have to be shaved down just a touch.

Is anyone able to tell me what the stem size is for the 2893 063/029's??
