Whats the difference in the 2 movements...Is it that the 2836-2 is modified from its original state and wasn't designed to be a GMT movement ( This is just a guess by the way) And if so is it reliable.

Is anyone actually selling the 2893 version though as I can't see it anywhere..Davidsen has listed his as no AR and he did mention that because of the cyclops he cannot do the AR on this watch. I think I might be better going for Josh or Trustys version and spending the additional money saved on AR coating and a relume.

Yip talking about the 2836-2 version..Do you know if Davidsen uses the good stuff now as far as his lume.?

Can anyone recommend a good place in Australia to buy decent watchboxes?... By decent I mean good cushions and the ability to fit panerais without hitting them with the lid. There are plenty on Ebay but the shipping charges to Australia is more than the cost of the box.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I did do a search first.... I'm looking at buying this watch after seeing an awesome example from one of our members and want to know which one is the best out of Davidsen or Josh's. Davidsens is about $100 more expensive. ??

Mate no one will call the police thats just not going to happen. Do like I did and walk around to a few until you find one that will service this...It helps if you can explain that the movement is similar to an ETA 7750 as most watchmakers when hearing the word rep automatically think of crappy movements. Good luck.

I have a very good watchmaker in Melbourne that can service these but not Sydney unfortunately.

Ruby can get them but she has to order them from the factory and they now all come with the really bad Pearl. I would at least get a gen Bezel for this as the pearl is about the size of a frozen pea

And I can vouch that Discovery is a good guy to deal with.
