  1. Hi, I'm in for 2 thin silver ones for ETA 2846 and 2836 1665 watches. Thanks
  2. The movement is 1570. It looks like in good condition. I removed the automatic winding parts from the bridge plate and examined the gears. They all look OK. I put a bit of pressure on the driver gear and the watch starts running again. It seems the main spring is broken. I want to remove the stem from the movement. How do I release the stem? There is no push button as in ETA, but there is a small screw next to the stem. It may be the one. Does anyone have experience with removing the stem from rolex 1570 movement? I appreciate your helps on this.
  3. Thanks all for good feedbacks and suggestions. I'll personally open it up and take a brief look at the watch first. Then go from there. I definitely think of The Zigmeister when it comes to movement services. Thanks
  4. Wow I can't believe it's that high. I thought it's around $15K. I'll pick it up this weekend and will open it up for more pictures. Will see what needs to be done and replaced.
  5. Hi, My brother just gave me this watch to check it out. It's from his father-in-law. It just stops running a few weeks ago. So it definitely needs movement overhaul. On top of it, it needs the crystal replacement as well. Does anyone have an extra superdome crystal for sale?
  6. Thanks The Zigmeister. I just demag the watch yesterday and left it on the winder again overnight. Will time it again later today after work. It's an ETA movement BTW. A first quick look at the movement , it looks like new. Will examine the hairspring as well. Other option is sending it back to the dealer for service or replacement.
  7. I just bought a new lady datejust watch for my sister. It runs about 30 minutes fast in 10 hours. So it's about 3 sec fast in 1 minute (60 sec.) Can it be regulated? What can cause the watch to run this fast? Thanks
  8. What did you use to file the back of the insert so nice and clean? very nice looking watch. I like the pearl. It's so .... GOOD. Thanks
  9. Yes. It was from Adam. It took me a while to get all the parts to complete the project. Initially, I plan for ETA2824 which is used in original Tudor. However, it does not fit the depth of the case. So ETA2836 fits perfectly. Other interesting point is that the OEM Tudor sapphire glass fits perfectly as well. And ... I just gave this watch to my brother-in-law. But I still have another case to build one for myself. The dial will be "vintage" blue this time.
  10. I started this Tudor watch project from a $25 Tudor watch case. Added items: - Genuine Tudor dial - OEM sapphire crystal - Tudor watch bracelet - ETA 2836-2 movement (similar to original Tudor movement) - OEM Tudor hand set - OEM spring bar Enjoy!
  11. Guys, Leo is right. He told me earlier that the shop is diagonally across from KFC restaurant. And the KFC is 1C04-1C07, not 1D15 as reptec wrongly pointed out.
  12. I don't see any X in the picture ?
  13. Very very nice collection you have Enjoy
