  1. Haha just put them on to show how they wore, next to eachother for comparison. Would never go out in public like that! Would probably fall over or dislocate my shoulder with all that metal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. How much did you pay for each bit? Trying to work out what's reasonable for the parts. And does your crystal have the coronet at 6 o'clock? Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Got my eye on some gen parts for mine too, interested what you paid for your bits and who fitted them? Thanks, and enjoy! Looks great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hi all, would like to draw on your collective expertise if I may... Wondering what the going rate is for; Gen bezel inserts brand new Gen crystals brand new (are there gen versions with and without the coronet at 6?) Thanks, looking to get some bits for my bk tw and don't want to be ripped off
  5. Completed the 6152 today. Thought I'd take some snaps with a pal - newly acquired 217. They're only unedited iPhone pics but hope you enjoyed them. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Sorry, just seen this thread. Will remove all advertising now Nanuq. Not intending to annoy anyone, thought it would be of use. Great forum, wouldn't like to ruffle any feathers. Consider it done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks a lot. Have done. Just waiting on a reply. Anyone else with any ideas or v2 spares lying around? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. That datewheel does look a bit poo. I think a v2/v3 hybrid might be in order... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Any ideas where to start with getting a new cyclops for an AP Diver v2? Is there any dealer I can PM that may help out? Would one of the new AR'd cyclops from the new offshores work? Thanks in advance, Tom
  10. Stunning collection & stunning pictures. Thanks for sharing these. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Just dug this one out of the 'archives'. Has been sitting in my draw for year's. Like the model it's meant to be. But clearly a crap rep. Still works though - even the power reserve somehow. Is there any way of making this half decent without spending a silly amount? Or is it a dead dog...? Cheers in advance. Failing doing anything decent with this, is DSN's version any good? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks. Just had a look on watchboys. Deployment blue gator looks nice, reasonable price too. Any pics? Wana see the combo before I buy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Just whacked a leather nato on my 1680. Was a bargain at £7.50 inc delivery from eBay. (13usd ish) Vintage'd it a bit and am very happy with the results. Really comfy and I like the look. Here's some iPhone pics for the sake of it; Pre vintaging
  14. Cheers guys, Was from DSN, is his latest version. Comes tested to 3atm too. Top marks to the guy, and shipping was silly quick. Not sure what strap to go for next, any suggestions?
  15. Just realised everything on here is visible through google. And my username is my name. Idiot. Can any staff help me out to change it pleease? I'll upgrade if that's what it means Thanks in advance
  16. Got this today, absolutely love the blue dial and caseback engravings. An uncommon one to see around too. What do you guys think?
  17. Thanks, As Mr Z has stated, waterproofing, new movements, servicing and repairs can be done. As can sourcing and fitting (mainly Rolex) gen parts and other brand franken projects. Any enquiries please don't hesitate to get in touch, Tom
  18. Nothing at the point I'd taken those pics. I bought two 390's, one came with a strap that looks like the one above but no textured effect - one was the one you see above. The one you see above I've not seen in any other posts, it's a lovely strap. Surprising quality for a rep strap, so much so I've left it on. There are slight mark on the tops of the band where it has rubbed against the case though, when the watch has been laid out. Oiled the strap since the pics and the darkness of the rub mark has now blended in
  19. Spare few minutes, 2 new arrivals, an iPhone and some sunshine in the garden Two for the price of one wristies Thanks for looking, Tom
  20. Thanks guys Was originally from DSN, the older version apparently. As opposed to his newest offering. Sold it the other day for some reason, regret it already!
  21. Just seen this post guys, There's a brief update on RG. There'll be members coming through soon with their experiences as have a few pieces in the workshop, and some have been completed already. http://www.repgeek.c...ad.php?t=162982 - *thread deleted already* - Brilliant. If you drop me an email at deleted I'll be able to drop you a pricelist and order form. Happy for myself or my collegue to meet in person - or special delivery. Also, my name and address are put to this project - not the actions of someone planning on doing a runner
  22. Hi there, I have a guy that can do that in London. Please check this thread for the full details. Have already been satisfied customers and will bring the service more widely across the forums soon. http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=162113 Servicing those movements will be no issue at all, turnaround should be a week - 10 days. Drop me an email at tomexton@yahoo.co.uk Kind regards, Tom
