Just picked this up Only thing that's bugging me is the blue hue to the AR'd cyclops. Where could I go to get the cyclops done with colourless AR as per gen? Or is it a case of getting a gen crystal... Assuming it will take a gen crystal that is. Otherwise a very very good watch - extremely pleased. Cheers in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got the overlay from BK, got the watch too. Really nice apart from the slight blue AR tint on the cyclops. It's bugging me! Anyone know how to remove it? Is it on the cyclops, underneath the crystal or between the two? Currently waiting for a gen crystal to be sourced in the next week or so. Again does anyone know if it'll take it? I've read that Rolex no longer produce the non ar'd crystals - so servicing and replacement crystals through Rolex will now be these ar'd ones. Increasing the likelihood of more older gen M series etc having an AR'd crystal. Some gen owners I've seen have upgraded their crystals to this new one too. I think they represent great value for money. Best mod available for these new breed of Franken subs IMO. Judging by the amount I've been asked I think these are extremely popular. All down to personal preference I suppose. And there may now be a load of the older type gen crystals up for sale now there's these hitting the market Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's the photo and my needless editing it looks great in the sun - exactly like your gmt there. Reminds me, spoke to my chap today, he said these crystals will fit the gmt iic and datejust. Just got one of these crystals installed in my BK tw. And a new insert/pearl for good measure AR on the cyclops is fantastic. Hard to capture on my iPhone in unnatural light. Opinions and thoughts are welcome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've sold one to a chap that knows his stuff, with an agreement that he will have it inspected and money will be returned if its not. It's worth exploring this avenue as far as I'm concerned, if this chap can get these crystals gen then it will benefit us all. If he can't then at least I and we can rule him out as a source in the uk. I understand entirely why you'd have doubts, I'd be the same. It does seem fishy. You've clearly not understood or read what I've said. Again, the situation is this; I've been told they've come from a brand new gen, and therefore are legitimate. And the supplier is so confident he's said he'll give my money back if I'm not completely happy with their authenticity. So far I am. I've had a look and sent some pictures around, and everything points to the fact they are gen. (apart from the crappy packaging they came in - which has been explained) I'm not 'bullshitting' anyone. Have laid on the line exactly my position. Came on here for some expertise and also to possibly offer them out to people if it would be of any use - as I know they're fairly thin on the ground.
