When I received the watch back from Z, I noticed it as well, his school of thought was the chrono hands should be the same and I agree. So, I just left it the way it is. I'm not passing it off as a gen and I was also aware of the variance with the speed, so it was a small thing.
I was waiting for somebody to point it out, I thought as I posted the pic "yodap will notice the switch"
I must say, your photography is going to make me poor Nearly every one of your watch pics pushes me over the edge to buy the watch, first the Skyland, now this one! Great shots!
Cheers!
Welcome to the forum! Yup, reps are pretty stiff and the gens are just superb (rightly so!) But yeah, break in time will make things a little better! If you can, spring for a gen calf at least, that's all I did and it's pretty nice!
DSN is amazing! I recently picked up my first DSN, a 112H and like everyone says, it's superb! My crystal is also off to Chief, can't wait to see the results!!!
Thanks again guys, I couldn't wait to post the results. This is an addictive "hobby" and it seems to only get better and more enjoyable as time goes by. I appreciate the community and the support, advice, and feedback of members. It took a while to get onto a run, but persistence and patience pays off! Lucky indeed!
Well here's the story...I originally sent my crystals away for the May AR run, the crystals were coated but didn't meet Chief's standards. So, they were sent again on the next run and came back "flawless." I finally received the crystals back last week, and man was it worth the wait, I was speechless at the results!!! Like Chief said "Second time was a charm" Thanks Again!!!
Welcome to the forum, it's addictive! Flaws aside, it's a great watch, I'm wearing mine right now, Chieftang AR coating and gen strap, just some minor mods to improve a classic piece. Enjoy!
Hey Andreww, I figured I did something wrong, it didn't seem as "together" when I took the stem out initially, as compared to my Navi which worked out fine (Pics soon as well). Thanks!
I was originally going to have it serviced back in May with The Zigmeister, but I got in for the AR run...so I didn't get it serviced! I live west of The Zigmeister, but I've got the request in for timelines...so we'll see! Thanks T!
Thanks, that's a good point! I guess it's bitter sweet...I was without the crystal for 5 months because of a coating issue...now that it's back...it's gonna have to leave again! Aaaaahhhhh! But it will be worth it in the end!
