  1. Nice collection: nice watches in a nice box... What else can you ask for? Hey, hey, hey... stop, man. I am not the genius of the magic lamp and you are not Aladdin, as far as I know. What the hell! It was just a *rethorical question*!! relox Edit: This was my 100 post. Come on, ask for your 3 wishes, since I can promise nothing at the time...
  2. LOL!!! Ken, please, remove that post or my neighbours will sue me for laughing so much... I guess they are wondering whether I won the lottery or found a box full of authentic Rolex... By the way, who the hell has stole a fork from my home? You, Ken? I figure you need it to make holes in your Pam
  3. Hey, men... What the he*l are you doing? What do you think that Greenpeace would say about that watch? In fact, nnomad, you are carrying foreign animal species from the US to your country and that may be dangerous... :-P When you go to bed, please, put your Monaco inside the drawer and lock it. And, please, please, please... Don
  4. Great review, D4M. I enjoyed it and found it very informative. I took (mental) notes, since I would like to buy a Tag Heur in the near future. I prefer the Carrera to the F1, but I have learned a lot from your post... I appreciate your review. Thanks, mate. relox
  5. Nice watch, mate. It looks great even in those giant pictures... :-) I hope you wear it well. It
  6. Congratulations, buddy. You deserved it, for sure. I have read a few of your posts and I will do in the future. So, please, don
  7. Sorry for the loss, Rob. I pray for those friends of yours, for their families and, of course, for you. I am sure all those who, like you, have suffered such a big loss, will find the strength to go on and honour the memory of those people. My condolence, friend.
  8. I was going to open a thread regarding the watch, but I arrived later... ;-) Anyway, the issue is that Lincoln never opened his watch to know about the movement... It could have been an ETA Copy!!!
  9. Hi, whitestripes. I took my PO to a friend, who is a watchsmith and has a Rolex AD, and he did the resize for me (friends are friends, no matter the reps or the jobs!). He told me it was quite difficult to remove those pins, although it was done in a matter of minutes (5 or so). I am thinking of getting a rubber strap, so I would appreciate if you told me which one have you ordered from WatchEden. If possible, PM the url of the page and I will go there to order mine. Thanks. See you, relox
  10. They look superb. After a dew purchases of Omega reps, I am now considering the purchase of a Rolex like yours -or even three!. Could you please tell us where you got those jewels? If not in a post, in a PM. I appreciate your advice, since you have run a few more miles than myself in the Rolex world and probably in the rep world in general. Thanks and, once more, enjoy those three outstanding watches. They are awesome, relox
  11. I have just received mine. Today, if I have some spare time, I will visit a friend of mine (who is, by the way, a Rolex AD) and ask him to resize the SS bracelet. If I have a chance, I will post some wristshots tonight. If not, any other day, as soon as possible. The watch looks great. It has the flaws we all know, but the value/price ratio is superb. It tells the hour (17:09 right now). What else can I add? relox
  12. I guess he is busy, givemestella. Be patient and I guess he will contact you as soon as possible. Regarding his stock, I don
  13. Tmeister, you are an artist, man... I was going to contact one of our dealers in order to get the rep of the car... But I won
  14. I do agree with you, Robbie, Tmeister and Toad. When you turn your head and look back, you realize how lucky you are and how good are our reps. Nothing to do with those of a few years ago... By the way, regarding the movement of this *jewel*, is it an ETA? If not, could I upgrade it to an ETA? Let By-Tor make a review of this or a comparison between the gen and this rep (can we call it rep?). He will demonstrate that they only have one thing in common and I don
  15. @tmeister: Thank you very much for your help. Now I know (I think I know) how to do the dirty job when my watch arrives. If I do it quickly, I can take it for a walk that same day... The NATO strap looks amazing with the orange bezel PO. Good choice! I think I will have to get my orange version too, because most of you have both of them and a great advantage when maching your watch and your clothes. ;-) Now I understand why women have so many ear rings, shoes,... to match each situation and dress... See you,
  16. This is the link: The link you asked for I don
  17. Well, I guess this hobby is very similar to fishing: you have to be patient. And we should realize that a dealer is a busy person who has a life -like all of us- and a business to do -and that involves not only replying mails, but providing the best products and services to his customers-. By the way, my mistake was really fun. If I had bothered Reg with such a silly requirement (send my watch! send my tracking number! now!) I would have had to ask for a mate here with a hummer in order to do the following: Hehehe! Well, when I get my watch I will tell you, tmeister and other fellow members. But that will be this next week... :-)
  18. Hey, this thread has been inactive for too many months. So, let
  19. Then, Toad, we may say this Tag is your fate. Get one or you will find it wherever you go. Watches are that way and you know it: they resemble women and, like women, there is no exit when they want you... relox
  20. The thing is that, as you stated, buying a replica is no simple. It will never be. But, and these are the good news, we have an *unfair advantage*: we are members of the RWG and that membership allows us to learn, share opinions, make friends and, last but not the least, enjoy excellent deals. Anyway, you are right: that buying a watch is never easy: If you want a UPO, you must choose: a gen or a rep? If you want a rep, you must choose: following this or that piece of advice? If you want to follow that piece of advice, you must choose: buying from this dealer or from that one? If you want to buy from that one, you must choose (once more! yes!): this UPO, or that one, or maybe that another? And this always happens once and once more, since repetition *ad nauseam* is the only way to do things, in this world as in life, and choosing is the only way to be free, although freedom hurts a bit. But, and here are the good news again, we have many chances to succeed because someone had a great idea and the will to help. And many others came later and followed that person. And, then, this forum happened to make the purchase of our rep watches not simple... but simpler. relox
  21. I have just paid for it (I did yesterday in the night) and I already have my tracking number. I will tell you about my experience when I get my PO -what a pity I won
  22. Well, since my PO is on its way home (come, baby, come...) I will have a chance to go to my watchmaker, who is also a good friend of my family, and ask him for some help in the near future. tmeister, I know you don
