  1. You gotta check the lume out on the new Blancpain 500 Fathon!
  2. http://www.perpetuelle.com/UsrViewForumDet...0&Catid=214 You might have to sign up, but it would be well worth it.
  3. I have a Sandoz HK Sub. Does anyone know what bezel insert will fit? Me need a new one. Anyone ever replace the Pearl?
  4. I have a Sandoz HK Sub as well. Have you found out what bezel insert will fit (size) and where to buy one at?
  5. It was more of a general question on prices between dealers and quality. I'm looking at an Ebel 1911 and prices range from $278 - $388. I can get one cheaper. I believe trusty and Josh are just about the same. I have no problem sharing who the dealer is. I just know how protective people are about this site.
  6. I read something about this before but just can't find it. I'm looking at an Ebel 1991 and the price difference ranges from $40 to $150. All the pics and descriptions look and read the same. I have a trusted dealer who I've purchased from beating all the dealers I've looked at. I figure I would go with the best price. Any input would be most welcome.
  7. I'm having a tough time deciding between the: Roles Turnograph (white dial) & Ebel 1911 Discovery (white dial) Im into white dials at the moment. I time a lot of events so the screwdown pushers on the Ebel turn me off a bit but I love the Day, Date feature. I'll probably buy both but can only buy one at moment (sound familiar?). I'm hoping a little input might sway my choice.
  8. Thanks Ken for a laugh! It took me 20 min before I stopped laughing!
  9. I'd be interested in everyones watch repair tools.
  10. I had to have one for myself as well. I just love the the white dial. Mine is a little different. 40mm case on bracelet. Took me 3 weeks to source one.
  11. I'm gong to file down my CG on my 051. Just not sure what grit to use. Those that have tried, what grit works best? What's the best way to clean the area up after filng?
  12. Don't buy the rubbish you will new that only straps were meant for PAM's. They look better on the bracelet IMO. I have a couple leads for bracelet search. Just shoot me a PM.
  13. I'm looking for a Crown Guard (polished) for my PAM051. I read Jimmy FU on ebay but a search showed nothing.
  14. I emailed the dealer so time will tell. Here are a couple links for you to look over: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Pictorial-PAM-Le...ose+crown+lever http://www.rwg.cc/members/Pam-Crown-Tutori...ose+crown+lever http://www.rwg.cc/members/Loose-Crown-Lock...ose+crown+lever http://www.rwg.cc/members/Pam-Crown-Review...ose+crown+lever http://www.rwg.cc/members/Loose-clasp-PAM2...ose+crown+lever
  15. Good eye Mike! I read that removing the CG and sanding down the base so it sits closer to the case is the easiest solution. Wonder if anyone has tried doing that? I might ask the dealer to send out another CG.
  16. The simplest solution is to remove the crown guard and file down the feet a little so it rests closer to the case. Has anyone tried it?
  17. My crown lever is a little loose. Any way I can tighten it or do I have to take it to a watchsmith?
  18. I just became a supporter!
  19. I went to an AD and looked at the Rolex Turnograh and as I walked out the salesman asked what I thought about Panerai. Tried it on and feel in love. the 40mm fit my dainty wrist perfectly. 42mm is pushing it, yet my gen aquaracer chronotimer and Oris titan chrono wear great. Took me a couple weeks of hard searching to source one.
  20. I just purchased a PAM051. 40mm case, White dial, date with mag, sub-seconds, lume, on a bracelet. What a brilliant transaction! Watch is great, though it is the only watch I've ever owned where I cant size the bracelet myself. I dont have a pin removal tool of something thin and long enough to do the job. It was a fantastic transaction, only 9 days from request to wrist! Now time to break out my camera and take some pics! Post them shortly!
  21. I found one from a dealer on RG. It's not on his site, I had him source one for me.
