Swapping a 21j mov't. or servicing an ETA clone? When purchasing a rep sometime I wonder which way to go and plan for the future when a servicing will be needed. A 21j movt is around $15 + cost of a movt swap. Servicing an ETA, cost I'm not sure about. Plus parts if anything should break during servicing. Finding a watchsmith qualified to work on ETA clones. Anyone make a purchase choice depending on servicing down the road?

Do you sell to buy or buy to sell? I find it hard to part with a couple watches I have but am looking for a watch. Do you do without as you build funds or just buy the watch and then sell off a couple. Curious how others go about.

The pushers on my Ebel 1911 Discovery are a bit stiff and require a good push to activate. Common?

I noticed my PAM just has 1 screw head. I try to loosen the screw and it just keeps turnng. Stripped or what? Is there a trick?

I did that, on the subscription control panel. I dont see anywhere to upgrade. just shows my current package subscribed to.

I was recording an event with my Ebel 1911 Discovery and I noticed when the chronograph's seconds hand crosses over to record 1 minute it does so BEFORE a full 60 seconds. The chronograph minute hand begins to advance at 57 seconds. Is this normal for the A7750? Does this mean the mov't needs servicing? A little perplexed.

An interesting opinion. What concerns me is not the content but the call by some members to ban the thread or member. WHY? Now, I'm new so I might have missed a forum rule that was violated. Just because a few members disagree with another's thoughts and views they call for a ban. I understand people are very passionate about horology, reps, and RWG. To call for a ban because one disagrees with opinions of others is ludacris.

If you like PAMs check out the PAM 00051 (date w/ mag. on a nice SS bracelet, 40mm case) Everyone has mentioned the Ebel 1911 Discovery (excellent watch, I should know I have one). I've always fancied the Rolex TurnOgraph (bi-directional bezel, date with mag.) Case is 38mm, though the gen is 36mm).

It seems most 42mm Pumpkin PO's I see (including mine) have a dial or bezel that is a little off center (variance of a couple mm's). Mine is a lite version and I have looked at lite and ETA clone versions. Is this a known issue? Are the 45mm better centered? Does anyone sell a 42mm Pumpkin PO spot on centered? I just came back from a local AD and except for the dial being off, dark date font, short hands, no AR, and clasp not being 100% smooth It really looks just like the gen. If you didn't know what to look for (rwg geeks) you would think it's a gen.

Is it coated Ti (don't think ti can be coated)? I guess I mean is it painted to look Ti or is it SS with yellow markers?

Noob ? GEN ETA or ETA clone?

This is one tough decision I don't mind! The Aquatimer has all I'm looking for: Chronograph, Divers bezel and inner to boot, Day and Date. I just with the ti version was ti. I have two gen ti watches and love them!

All I can say is, I love my accountant! After paying off the last of my credit card debt and investing, I still have some extra coin! I'm gonna reward myself with a another rep! I am tickled pink! Now do I go for the watch I have been eyeing for sometime (IWC Aquatimer)? Or buy something daring and unique (Big Bang)? Or upgrade my 21j PO to a better quality PO (I fell in love with her and want a quality rep to keep for some time)? Darn money, sure makes life hard a times.
