Very nice! Looks great. I bet she is happy with your effort and the result.

Once again sorry for your situation. I cannot imagine how difficult it is. You are a very strong individual for doing what you have to do. Just remember to lean on your family and freinds from time to time to help you. And If we can help just let us know.
Along those lines if we see anything in your collection of interest is it OK to PM you with a question?

Wow! Quite an undertaking. Looks nice.

Looks great on the sail cloth strap. Definitely on the short list for me.

I concur. Very handsome piece. Don't know anything about the brand though. Good luck with your search.

Good on ya for giving it a go. Looks like you probably learned a few things along the way too. So in the end time well spent.
As for the vintage Omega, I would probably leave that to the professionals

I kinda like it!

I have this one and kind of like it. Gets a lot of compliments too.

And there is the RWG I love. While you are at it you might want to try to replace the strap and give her a totally renewed piece. That would be a great surprise.

Looks good. Although I am not sure about the jubilee. 4 days is pretty quick.

Beautiful! But what a PITA. I love the snow for all things recreational and for looking at. But for my daily routine too much of a wild card. Now being back in Canada I need to get myself ready

That looks...super I am interested to see the rest of your build.

who is "we" and why is it funny that the rotor says 25 jewels not 20? I don't understand.

Definitely needs a service. Sounds to me like the reversing wheels in the autowind module are not doing their job.

The 6-9-12 is the older version of the blackbird which for me just looks like a regular BCE with a special edition dial. It is nice but not really worthy of the Blacbird title. The newer big date version really stands out with the unique dial config, bracelet and bezel indicators. Very impresive looking watch and the winner of this showdown for me

Once while in Cincinatti, I drove over the bridge to Covington Ky.....Just to say I had been there...I made a U turn in @ 100 yds, and came back... :clap2:
Covington is so so. You have to get down to Lexington to really appreciate KY. Beautiful rolling hills with lush trees and horse farms everywhere with white fences. Really is quite something.
I actually spend some time every year in your neck of the woods. We do a family trip down to Ft Myers for a few weeks each Feb. Just great down there. Much like Canada, and maybe even more so, the US is such a diverse country geographically speaking. A lot to see and do. Very fortunate y'all
