Most gen womens Tag's are Quartz so auto reps would be inaccurate. My wife has several auto watches and one or two Quartz (including a gen Tag link) and she tends to wear the Quartz watches more often. It takes her long enough to get ready as it is when we're going out without having to set the time/date on a watch too

Thanks for all the advice, in the end I went for a mint used Gen Tag Link MOP with diamond dial. Paid around twice the amount I was going to pay for a rep ETA Datejust and I've got her a gen! Really pleased and I'm sure she'll like it....her birthday is next month

I am looking to buy a good quality S/Steel & diamond bezel Datejust or Masterpiece for my wife. I'm thinking of spending around $250 and would like one with an ETA movement similar to the photo below. I would spend more for a really good replica but there seems to be a lack of good quality ladies replicas. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations on these watches? Thanks in advance!

Looking at the screw damage from an engineering point of view only it seems to me that it would be unnecessary to even put a screwdriver head into them as they are captive screws and would be held by the bezel. Surely only the backs need to be tightened! Or am I missing something?

Yes the picture is of the Omega movement which seems virtually identical to the one in the Sub. Here's a pic of all three 10 mins ago :-)

Hi everyone First post so be gentle with me!! I've been interested in replicas for some time and now own three, a Sub, SMP & a Panerai. I bought all three of them a couple of years ago or more and they've been superb, the Sub being worn every day to work. It's funny because I had a genuine Tag but I wore it so little after buying the reps I sold it! I'll enclose a few pics as I don,t know how good or bad they are as replicas. The Sub was bought second-hand and I've recently taken the back off to have a look at the movement. Not sure if it's Swiss or Asian. The movement in the SMP is exactly the same as the Sub.
