My gen is also nice and firm, and far from wobbly..
The JimmyFu CG seems tighter than my gen, but tighter doesn't *always* mean better lol
-
Another good case to own reps!
-
I've asked the guy what happened with the watch.... He said it was thrown out with the garbage LOL
-
Congrats on your new watch, pretty nice, but no sapphire and old a7750??!!
As they say down here in Oz...
!NOT HAPPY JAN!

Bummer... I guess selling the strap, book, and warrantee card could recoup *some* of the costs, except of course all the emotional bruises from kicking himself LOL
-
Well, I guess they just don't get it....

you could probably ask for a little bit more...
but the crow cost you SEVENTY-FIVE US DOLLARS? Are you out of your mind?? Who pays 75$ for a piece of metal? I'd rather sniff a gramm of cocaine for that amount!
Slay... you're still a tool

Nice combo V!! Love that strap for sure, wear it well!

Damn... where to start?...
Was Pink Floyd, Yes, Zeppelin. Frank Zappa, BB King, Joe Cocker and many others.
Moved to Rush, Van Halen, Aerosmith, then to Metallica, RHCP, Creed, Soundgarden, Joe Satriani and Stevie Vai...
Now still Red Hot CPs, Steve Vai, liking Linkin Park quite a bit.
Always Jazz, sometimes Fusion, sometimes classical...
Tried Hip Hop but I guess I'm too old
Techno got me baffled but some industrial stuff is OK in moderation.

Found this on a recommended strap site and thought it was nice... Anyone know what it is?

My lovely better half
informed me there was a package at the PO today... Funny, because I have been tracking this and there was no info on the web, thought it would be here next week
Anyway, she thought she'd be funny and hold out on me whilst she went shopping... real funny haha... I was bursting with anticipation as I knew this must have been my holy grail from Davidsen
Well, it's just about everything I have been expecting, of great quality and beautiful T dial destro PAM 026. Perfectly uniform PVD finish, no recessed pin, excellent AR coated sapphire glass, just lovely all around.
Davidsen, my hat is off for you, sir
Only gripe I have is that it's difficult to get a thick strap on it, I had to remove the tubes from this Europelli baseball strap to get it on...
The other is that there is a hairline (and I mean very marginal hairline) mismatch between the CG and the case on one side. Barely noticeable with a loupe up to the light, so no biggy.
Anyway, here's the photos of my most coveted watch to date... I wonder what will move me like this one:
-
Davidsen has these I believe. Ask for 188 hands
-
You are correct, but I would get a more vintage... 5218, 026, 004, 009 etc
The 195 dial will need work as it is not correct... yet

[censored] Off Kenberg! Just because I don't post a lot doesn't mean a thing. I have purchased from Joshua, Letiztozeiss, Overboosted and a few others over the course of almost a YEAR.
My lust for a decent TT Sub rep, confusion of who George was, being told by another member that it was like Luckyyy's sub, and the dealer telling me it had a solid 18K band is what got me here.
I have spent MONTHS researching where to get a decent TT Sub rep. I have exchanged emails with Eddie Lee, Joshua, and Precious Time in regards to what they offer.
There was a huge thread where there was a lot of argument about whether this guy was legit or not. Even so called "senior members" were not in agreement. I think I have done a favor for the community by confirming that it is crap. I am so sorry that YOU have a problem with it.
LOL... That's pretty funny... I haven't read the thread, but if I saw a lot of conflicts to whether this wm9 dealer is legit or not, I surely wouldn't spend $600 with him
You're obviously not very good at research, or maybe just a masochist
It's too bad you got such a crappy watch, but what the hey, you decided to go outside the walls of this place to buy.
Live and learn... Good luck with the chargeback

Omega SMP Diver Chrono 7750 base caliber Blue Dial Genuine without a doubt...
-
Both are correct.... The cutout numbers are what is called a sandwich dial which is a feature of the later Panerais starting with G series... Pre G series had the numbers/markers applied on top of the dial...
There are different styles of dials in the Pre Vendome, T dial, and vintage Panerais... you can read about these here:

Hello,
I recently bought a PAM104 from Joshua (looks great BTW!) that came with a black calf strap with a deployment clasp. It works fine, but the clasp is too short... I can't open the clasp and slide the watch over my hand and on to my wrist. And I do not have big hands. They're in between a medium and a large glove size.
So to put the watch onto my wrist, I need to move the clasp to the furthest hole to make the strap opening the widest, then slide the watch over my wrist, then move the clasp to a nearer hole to make the strap fit snug on my wrist, then close the clasp. To take off my watch, it's the same thing in reverse! It takes a while to do this too, since you're using one hand...
I figure that if the deployment clasp was longer, then I could keep the clasp set in the hole that I want, then just open and close the deployment whenever I want to put on or take off my watch.
Does Panerai make such a clasp?
Any help or recommendations would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Are you opening both sides of the clasp? My hands are much bigger than my wrist, but it fits over my hand fine... You must have some big hand:wrist ratio going on there
