I'll vouch for Joshua as well... After ordering my TRUE ULTIMATE 127 I noticed that my package was heading to New York City!!! I was a bit concerned being way down here in Melbourne...
The package arrived here yesterday on 21 June after being ordered on 14 June...
As Josh says...DUN WORRY!
-
Thanks for the (again) great review Rob...
Goodness gracious... I hope this ain't what I ordered
-
I like the lugs of the Luminor and the case of the radiomir, but the crown of the luminor and the dial of a chrono... Hence, the 212 is my favourite watch
-
The genuine has black subdial hands... the photo you see on the Panerai sitre is the prototype with silver hands and no REG TM on the crown guard.
The crystal is 'apparently' a synthetic sapphire... not sapphire but also not your typical mineral crystal from what I am told..
-
Where do you learn that ?? from some downunder mates ??
You guys crack me up
I don't wanna see that skidmark strap either
-
My suspicions and info was correct... These are definately NOT sapphire. First the failed the waterdrop test, then the sapphire against the cheek test, and now the ultimate test.
Just about the only thing that will scratch a sapphire is diamond.
This is EITHER false advertising or a blatant blunder from the manufacturer... whichever it is, WE are the ones getting screwed.
I think an explanation is in order

It sounds funny (and maybe even downright strange), but when you wake up in the morning, clean the oils off your face your face with your strap... It does a great job of getting rid of the oils on your face and ages the strap beautifully! You will have a beautiful patina in no time flat!
-
Now that you know... Maybe it would be fun to complete the deal, meet him in person, and do a Bas Rutten on him... da dang da dang da dang... don't do that to el Guapo!
-
Yup you are right, She is around 30 with a great body and 1.80cm tall but still can upload her pics.. will see in the future..
Wow, at 1.8cm tall, you can keep her in your pocket and take 'er out when you need to... She wouldn't cost much to feed either... good deal
-
Great price, but I'd be careful. Make damn sure of the authenticity, better to complete the transaction face to face.
-
Monards also will offer a good discount on the higher end brands...
I have found that the regular jewelery shops are the best place to buy Omegas and Tags, Longines, Oris (mid-range) as the will offer between 30-35% off list without you even asking for it.
The watch only shops 'usually' won't offer even close to that much, these are pretty good prices as far as I can see, but not stunning.

I'd really like to know what they have left in JLC... the two button Master chronos at 2 & 4 are awesome looking watches...
I would think there aren't many left.

091 on butterscotch
But I REALLY like your PAMs on your girl... Makes me wanna go hmmmm
-
WOW Chris!!!
Welcome to the 91 club!
I know you've been eying this model for quite a while now
, so congratulations!
The 091 is so underappreciated... I believe because it is modern model, plus has the anthracite dial it moves quite far away from Panerai's heritage... But it's a beautiful piece and very unique
I normally wear mine on quite a wide assortment of straps, don't worry, I think just about everything goes with it!
You got it for a song... You definately won't lose mulla on that one... Great Find!! Wear it well!!

Another one saved from the clutches of scam rep sites! Good job guys!
Welcome Antonio... everything you need is right here. Have fun and prepare to have less money! ^^

Here's the gen bracelet off my 091D... The newer bracelets have double pushbutton deployant where this is a single button deployant. Notice the taper from 24 to 22mm mentioned earlier:
And here are the protruding lugs on the end piece, these fit into grooves in the watch that isn't present in the models not designed pfor bracelets:
-
So, does the lens on that camera have a crystal dome?
-
-
It's not a spring bar, it is a component of the deployant. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a replacement as it is made for that model only.
I think trusty and river both sell deployants (with rubber straps) and they won't break your bank.

A businessman met a beautiful girl and agreed to
spend the afternoon with him for $500. They did
their thing, and, before he left, he told her that
he did not have any cash with him, but he would have
his secretary write a check and mail it to her,
calling the payment "RENT FOR APARTMENT."
On the way to the office, he regretted what he had
done, realizing that the whole event had not been
worth the price. So he had his secretary send a
check for $250 and enclose the following typed note:
"Dear Madam:
En closed find a check for $250 for rent of your
apartment. I am not sending the amount agreed upon,
because when I rented the place, I was under the
impression that:
#1 - it had never been occupied;
#2 - there was plenty of heat; and
#3 - it was small enough to make me feel cozy and at
home.
However, I found out that it had been previously
occupied, that there wasn't any heat, and that it
was entirely too large."
Upon receipt of the note, the girl immediately
returned the check for $250 with the following note:
"Dear Sir:
First, I cannot understand how you could expect a
beautiful apartment to remain unoccupied
indefinitely. As for the heat, there is plenty of
it, if you know how to turn it on. Regarding the
space, the apartment is indeed of regular size, but
if you don't have enough furniture to fill it,
please do not blame the management.
Please send the rent in full or we will be forced to
contact your present landlady."

Great post, one step at a time... Our reps ARE getting better, but we still must modify.
Can we buy hands and pin that will fit on the current ETA engraved plates from you?
-
You are a lucky man to have such a wife that understands your WANTS... Mine got me my SMP pro blue and that special feeling has stayed with me since!!
Wear it well!

Swiss 312 and my gen 091... Still waiting for the rest of the parts for my 196 PVD

I strongly disagree with your poll... make it shorter or take it down, it's long and boring... If you don't know this stuff already, you're in the wrong business
